What are you talking about? What makes you think a recruit “wouldn’t understand it”? I’m sure Brooks understands it, but he wants to play for Pruitt. Your post makes no sense to me.

It is absolutely true that some just want to play for a certain coach. I’m not sure why it gets so many bent outta shape but it is what it is.

So it’s our fault, the fans, Brooks may not sign? When we have every right to be upset and want a change? He doesn’t understand business and money then. Every recruit claims it s a business decision when they commit. Why is it the fans fault when a coach underperforms with talent?

Doesn't matter if it's a good decision or a bad decision. All it means is that he wants to play for Pruitt. That's it.

The fans are always the scapegoat when our University is actually ran by orangutans who’d don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. But yeah fans fault. They’ll think it’s our fault when we stop paying. Anyone who blames the fans is just stupid. There will never be more support form our fans if the university just did one damn thing right.

I’ve never once meant it to be like they can’t complain. To be honest there are better ways than showing your a** to help get stuff done, y know. That whole thing about crying enough to get your way thing doesn’t exactly draw in the players.

I don’t see AP’s comments as “blaming” the fans.

He’s just saying Brooks saw that and hears what’s out there so it’s giving him pause. Brooks clearly believes in Pruitt. Still Pruitt’s fault for the losses but maybe the reaction (meaning the talk of Pruitt being fired) means more to the kid than the losses.

Obviously as fans the majority feel very differently. That’s ok.

Take it up with the fans that are tired of Pruitt.

It’s not just me.

We spend our hard earned money to watch them play and for what? What exactly are we getting in return?

Nothing.

I’m tired of him, myself. That’s what those of you that are always pushing back against me forget. I’ve been done with it since the Kentucky game. Legit washed my hands of him. I think he’s a good dude but we need a winner. Not a wiener

So fans want credit for stopping schiano hire but find it unfathomable that the actions can effect recruits... smh this was a weird year I don’t wanna excuse Pruitt he has to be better but I feel with a good Qb we will look completely different... who would want to come coach here at this point anyways ? I hate how toxic this fanbase has become.

That's what I see as well. Next year with HB and Salter, we could be really good, but I also understand that the perennial "one year away" excuse gets old after a while.

This is true always a year away but we have a real foundation we have size and speed and athletes everywhere... idk what happened at halftime of UGA but we haven’t been right since... but we are not as bad as our record shows and with Bailey or salter next year we will be a lot better and pretty much everyone from the defense returning... Pruitt for sure needs to evaluate everything and get better but we are not as bad as we seem and I can’t see how firing him now makes sense
