I don’t have to prove anything to you. My finances or any other private citizen on this board is none of your damn business. I didn’t take a classless shot at anyone unless the thought of someone being financially better off than you is triggering you to call it classless.

Don't play the invested fan is in concert with the folks making the offending posts card and then refuse to back it up and then expect those of us on the other side to just let it slide giving the impression if it is unchallenged it is true.

Pretty bad when I have to hate my own teams fan base more than my rival fan bases.
This is such a bs take. All Pruitt had to do was be competitive this year. Show progress. He failed. The team regressed. Yet for some of you, fans rightfully saying this guy isn’t - and won’t - get it done are the problem?

Let me ask you this, what has JP done thus far to give you confidence he can turn this **** show around? Or should fans just lap up the GA State, BYU, Kentucky, and Arkansas losses like good little mutts?

Your blame is misplaced. This could all be resolved with one short statement from Philip Fulmer. He hasn't done that. Why?

The right coach means more to the program than one recruit. I would gladly trade half this class for the right coach and what that will mean for the future of the program. Get the right coach and recruiting will not be an issue in the future.

I also said there are those that take it too far. Don’t pick out slivers of a post and ignore the rest. Don’t like what you hear hit ignore don’t really give a **** what you or anyone else thinks about it. Cry, point fingers, or blame all you want but you won’t change my stance nor my opinion.

All he had to do was bench JG at halftime of the Georgia State game and never look back!

Not everyone wants to play for Brian maurer’s team. Plain and simple. Lol. Just kidding. For real it’s not hard for recruits to see that Tennessee is a really poorly coached team that’ll almost certainly swap coaches soon. The sad thing is if Pruitt could’ve just turned the offense over to the offensive staff and not ridiculously continued to put Jg out there and then ridicule reporters and fans that questioned that decision...we could be headed in a mother direction.

But it’s over for him. These guys get a short window to prove that have what it takes. He blew his chance mainly because of that one shockingly dumb decision. Most “fans” would’ve never put Jg back out there after his first year playing (he was a rs sophomore). He just clearly didn’t have the ability to feel pressure and move around, make anything happen with his legs, make accurate throws under duress, or go through progressions. We saw him play in 12 games or so before Pruitt arrived. He should have worked hard to develop other guys. Not till with Jg and turn him into a game manager hoping to win with a great run game amd defense. That’s not the way the game works in this day and age.

He blew his shot and recruits know it.

That has to be the biggest "card" ever.

No we don't. Not even close.
We're a bottom tier SEC program at this point (sad but true) and we act like we're Bama. I really don't think people realize how bad we are to the core. From the top down the dysfunction is very real. It does not matter who we bring in, they're going to be unsuccessful. Yet we try to run off every coach like we deserve the next Saban.

Seriously, is it Pruitt's fault that our offensive players haven't improved? We have a star studded coaching staff (a few bums -- looking at you Weinke), but every position group has regressed. That's a sign of a program that is rotten to the core. Pruitt's in way over his head, sure, but whoever we hire next is going to have the same struggles. And the fans will paint the rock and cry then too.

It’ll be the same thing. Well hire and fire in 3.25 years, rinse and repeat. We don’t have facility advantages anymore thanks to the tv deal. And we don’t have the benefit of in state recruiting advantages. It is what it is

I actually think that if Pruitt is back next year we’ll be a good team. Not looking to debate again, but some of you guys just can’t accept that some people do believe Pruitt can succeed, including recruits.
I accept that some on here do believe that Pruitt can succeed, inspite of all the evidence suggesting the opposite.
I also believe there were just as many believers in Butch Jones succeeding the year before he lost every sec game and got fired mid season.
Follow the evidence people, the evidence don’t lie!!

Pruitt is the HC.

He’s the one who assembled this coaching staff.

The one getting paid 3.8 million to win ball games? Yeah, that’s all on him.
