If I remember it was coming down to us and auburn not Alabama... so if I’m heupol I hire steel as dc and bring in Rodney garner and brooks is back in the boat at that point IMO!

Supposed to be able to rollover spots if you don't sign the max the previous year, but Bama has signed the max or more like the last 3 years. Apparently rules just don't apply to every school.

I think Coach H is just wanting to have good talks with both players that are wanting their release and also those in the portal to see if he can get them to reconsider and stay at UT before he releases.

It would be a disservice to these young men to transfer before they even know who the coordinators and position coaches will be.
They are signed, they should at least find out this info before making a final decision.
An informed decision is almost always a better decision.

What if House is the DC and LB coach? One would think he could make Dylan a high draft pick ...

Especially if you don't enroll til August. What's the rush if you're not already enrolled.

Almost all players that don't early enroll, come ifor summer classes in June now.

I think CJH is hoping once he hires his DC and defensive assistants, they all can talk to Brooks and back him off the ledge of asking out of his NLI. Probably same with Cody Brown - once we hire a RB coach.

But imo Brooks and Brown ain't coming here regardless.

I guess we will know sometime in the near future. I hope both want to stay, but if they don’t, we don’t want people who don’t want to be here.
