I think blame is all around. An off game for the players and coaches. Either CCM is not making adjustments or the players just aren't implementing the adjustments. My guess is on the latter. I have faith in CCM.

You're ignorant. There most certainly was halftime adjustments offensively. We stopped jacking 3's like we had in the first half and got the ball inside. We just couldn't hit point-blank shots.

Referencing your "no fire" BS post, do you say that because he doesn't jump up and down screaming, doesn't rip off the jacket, etc? Many would say that that shows composure, and is admirable. Just because he doesn't do those things doesn't mean he doesn't have fire in his gut. And if you think he didn't coach and explain that the players have to pass the ball to break the press and finish around the rim, I dunno what to tell ya.
And as CCN said, nice of you to show up after an L after being MIA during the 9 of the last 11 games.

The reason we don't regularly post here is because you guys with superior bb wisdom berate anyone who questions the guy. You think we want him to lose? I'd feel much better if he'd chew someone's ass for poor effort, make adjustments, anything. We have to rely on a big night from McRae or stokes to win. Sometimes golden. I'd feel better if they put forth consistent efforts.

Seriously? I still a ton of 3's jacked up after halftime 2 for 10 to be exact. Yeah, Stokes looked like a high school player every time he had a touch on the block but I still didn't see anyone attacking Bama's zone. Face it, CCM is not a big time coach.

Explaining to the players and getting them to actually do it are two diff things. It's coaching.. You guys have fun here in the BB forum.

If you all wouldn't come on here with "FIRE CUONZO!!!" and "HE MADE NO ADJUSTMENTS!!!" when he did, which shows you don't know what you're talking about, you wouldn't get slammed. Martin can't dribble for them nor hit layups. You've not once blamed those things for the losses, when they do those things, they've won.

I'm not saying he is a big time coach. I take exception with your incorrect assertion that he made no offensive adjustments, because that is patently false.

In retrospect, I don't know that this team was ever really any better than they were the first half of the season. Maybe a tad, but not substantially better. Everyone makes a big deal out of the last 10 games or so, but for the most part, those game were against very weak competition (if Florida is the best your conference has to offer, then that's not saying a whole lot). Heck, our schedule the first half of the season was probably tougher than the last half. Combine a run that was probably blown out of proportion with a team that just didn't seem to really want it, and NIT is the answer you get from that algorithm. Sucks, but true.

What do you expect him to do during the game? Ask the ref to hold the ball so he could explain in detail how to do those things and run some drills to make sure they understand? He can't do anything at that point except tell them. If they don't do it, it won't happen.

I never said coach Martin was not a good coach today he was out coached. make excuses for missed shots anything else you want today Martin was out coached the team was out played.... 2 things are fact

Took 13 threes in the first half and shot 2-10 in the second half. Not our formula for winning games. Tis was our January team all over again and we played right into Bama's hands. Grant completely out coached Martin today.

Oh, so essentially the way you jackasses act in the football and recruiting forums? You are one of the most condescending posters over there, so jump on down off the soap box you hypocrite.

As for your participation in this forum, know your facts and don't come over only after a loss to spew your ignorance. I'd have no problem with it if you EVER showed up to credit the team and coaches when things are going well. Don't show up only after losses and then blame other posters for your absence during wins as if it's some secret society, and we're all here to berate everyone whose opinion isn't shared by the majority.
