Alabama post game report

Took 13 threes in the first half and shot 2-10 in the second half. Not our formula for winning games. Tis was our January team all over again and we played right into Bama's hands. Grant completely out coached Martin today.

I don't disagree with any of that. There were times in the second half when we were forced to shoot 3's, unlike the first half when we selectively jacked them up at will. There is a difference, and with that in mind, we still shot three less in the second half.

When Martin fails to make the Tourney again next year with Maymon back & an absolutely loaded squad you will finally see the light..........

Just took a screen shot of this dumb comment. Should've done it with the guy that would've bet his house that this team was going to finish under .500. And when he does make the tournament, what will you say? Absolutely nothing, because you hide during good times.

I think if that actually happens we will have a new coach in 2014-15. I really think next season will be a Sweet 16 pr better year. No reason it shouldn't be.

If CCM doesn't make the tourney next year assuming everyone is healthy, he should be rightfully so.

If everyone is healthy though, it won't be an issue.

Martin will not win 20 games next year. I want him to but he just cant get it done. He waits too late in the season to coach his team.

This thread is a joke. The reason we lost was not coaching. The main concern going in was handling the press, which we did pretty well (only 10 turnovers). The offense looked much better in the second half, we just didn't make shots. McRae and McGee missed several wide open threes which are good shots. Also, we missed way too many free throws and layups to have a chance. It wasn't our night, move on.

Really? He's proven doubters wrong both years he's been here. Predicted, what, 9th in the SEC last year, finished 2nd (overachievement). People were so sure this season was over when Maymon went out, then said they would finish under .500 after the first loss to UGA, yet won 20 games this year.

Are we gonna see our name called on Sunday for the Big Dance?

You act like it is a sure thing. Your opinion says no, but that's a good thing you're not on the committee. It's a possibility it won't, it is possible it will. No one has said it will, but you and others are so determined to be right that you won't even have faith in your team.

What does thst have to do with winning 20 games next year, or the fact that we are 20-12 this year?

It's impossible to predict with so much tourney ball left to play that can affect our spot, but if I had to pick right now, I'd say yes we will hear our name called. Since you asked.

He won 20 games with this team! He's replacing Skyler McBee with Robert Hubbs and Kenny Hall with Jeronne Maymon! You have to be kidding me.

I love how you clowns show up after losses only. I've never seen you post in this forum before, yet here you are gracing us with your infinite wisdom.

I'm not here to party on our grave, but, chris you have to admit during the losing streak the board was missing a lot of the other side in here after the game. It goes both ways.
It would be nice if we could get serious next year before losing ten games.

I agree. The moaners were out in full force and a lot of the johnny come lately's were nowhere to be found. The regulars have been around through it all, and encouraged people to stay the course, and cut out the "fire CCM" crap. You know the difference.

I do and we all need to keep a little perspective. i like arguing with some on here, but, in the majority we are all vol fans. Let's move on.

I'm sick of these negavols. This forum was a joy in the last week or so. People were excited and optimistic about UT. Why have so many given up? If you're such a fan, stop being a fair weathered fan and cheer no matter what. You think the players appreciate people like that. HELL No. I'm a UK fan, and people are gonna whine and complain that's it not my business, but it GTFO if you're one of them. Seriously.

Just a thought.

Oh, so essentially the way you jackasses act in the football and recruiting forums? You are one of the most condescending posters over there, so jump on down off the soap box you hypocrite.

As for your participation in this forum, know your facts and don't come over only after a loss to spew your ignorance. I'd have no problem with it if you EVER showed up to credit the team and coaches when things are going well. Don't show up only after losses and then blame other posters for your absence during wins as if it's some secret society, and we're all here to berate everyone whose opinion isn't shared by the majority.

You sir are the hypocrite for getting on the soap box. People will not agree with your opinion in this life occasionally. Deal with it

I'm fine with disagreeing. People do it all the time. It's just tiresome to see the Debbie Downer's show up only after the losses to beat a dead horse and make irrational comments. Disagree all you want, but have facts to back up your statements, and try to stay rational.

To be fair, I wasn't calling you out individually to begin with, but you jumped in and threw your hat in the ring as if I were. So, either you felt convicted, or you were just looking for an argument.

Of course not, but the OP was making the excuse they had to play 24 hours ago lol. That's a pansy ass excuse for guys that age. Grow up.

It wasn't even the OP that posted that. Also, I didn't say that the excuse was valid, I just thought that your comparison was a bit much.
