If nothing else, that famous Bama depth of stacked classes is gone. It will be a rudeand overdue awakening for them this fall.

I don't think that will be true next year unless there are a lot more that defect between now and the end of the 30 day window. By my count, they are currently projected to have 80 scholarship players and 70 of them are 4 and 5 stars.

Wouldn’t say that. There’s just a big difference between Saban and 99% of coaches. Short is going to Kirby and UGA. The commits they have can go anywhere they want for the most part so they can compete for nattys at a more secure program if you will. Not DeBoer’s fault

‘Bama fans on other sites acting like this is the end of College Football is absolutely killing me.

They have been spoiled by Saban for so long they have no comprehension what it has been like for other teams and their fans. We were gutted by the Transfer Portal before Heupel’s first season, and yet here we are.

They finally get a taste of what it’s been like for everyone else and they want to cry foul. I hope they plummet and wallow in mediocrity for a decade.
