Alabama transfers

Bama kids are after more $$$$. That was Bonds move. What they should do with coaching change. Check the market.

Washington kids will also as will Arizona as soon as Fisch takes Washington.

That is the new college and kids are nutty to not check out options.
I’m less sure. Bond knows he’s a year away from the NFL, and that’s money NIL cooperatives don’t match. And Bama’s NIL scene is certainly adequate. If Bond was just chasing a bag, Saban leaving wouldn’t have mattered.

But if he’s going to be learning a new system, he might want to pick which system it is.

McCoy was a freshman all American and shut down Washington WRs so they say
Wasn't against SEC so it doesn't count!

Did I do that right negavols?

Same with McMurray, pff grade of 80+ in 22' better than any corner we've had here under Heup....not encouraging! Doesn't count! Means nothing!

I can get McMurray due to size and comp but McCoy has everything you would want in a corner and played in a good conference with loaded offenses. Could end up being the most impactful transfer this class so far imo

Hadden had a grade above 85 before his injury this year. He was having a great year.

a pair of highly rated bama cornerbacks hit the portal the last few days. Gotta think those two are takes if we can get them on campus and pay them.

dont even care they are unproven really bc they are more talented now collectively

We just gave the same exact secondary what felt like 6 yrs to prove themselves and they couldnt do it. Just glad its a new era back there.

Yeah, but the American isn't that bad and I think it's more impressive when the team around him was so bad.

He's still played against the likes of Duke, Houston, Memphis, Rutgers, Cincinnati, UCF, SMU, Miami, a Frank Harris led UTSA and Golesh's USF. The weak comp argument just doesn't really hold much water to me. He's played against plenty of talent and several solid P5 level teams. I don't think people understand the college football talent hierarchy outside of "the SEC is the best" if it's not SEC they can't possibly be good.

McMurray was inactive vs Miami. Just an fyi that doesn’t change your post.

Every school you named would compete with Vandy for last place in the SEC, except Miami, who Mcmurray didn’t play against. Who are the several “solid power 5 level teams” that he faced? I count zero.

Initial interaction with the new coach and players and recruits must not be too great. You love to see it!
Wouldn’t say that. There’s just a big difference between Saban and 99% of coaches. Short is going to Kirby and UGA. The commits they have can go anywhere they want for the most part so they can compete for nattys at a more secure program if you will. Not DeBoer’s fault
