The desperation makes sense. Norvell & Co have to win now or there will be no 2023 for them. What Deion is doing at JSU doesn’t help him. So yeah, they’re gonna try to get every instant impact player they have room for, because they can’t worry about the future if they don’t make it past 2022.

Hopefully Verse sees this. Tennessee is trending up. FSU is likely to be hiring a new coach in a year.

Just an update from my end. He really wants to make a decision by tonight and announce on Wednesday or Thursday. We will see if it gets to that point because he is being very diligent in the process and still hearing everyone out. Once he makes the decision, he will take time to call each coach that has offered and is still recruiting him to thank them for the opportunity. FSU-UT pressing hard but LSU, Miami, Auburn, Texas and USC are communicating with him non-stop as well. He did virtual visits with each and is trying to make a true football based decision. Likes a lot about each school I mentioned. Rodney Garner has Tennessee in this one until the end but still a ways to go over the next 24-48 hours, in my opinion.
