I just don’t feel like we’ve learned anything today, good news or bad. We knew he was going to try and decide sometime this week, we knew he didn’t necessarily have to visit where he decided to enroll, and we knew we were a legit option, but amongst a group of options. Nothing that’s come out today has altered any of this.

Just an update from my end. He really wants to make a decision by tonight and announce on Wednesday or Thursday. We will see if it gets to that point because he is being very diligent in the process and still hearing everyone out. Once he makes the decision, he will take time to call each coach that has offered and is still recruiting him to thank them for the opportunity. FSU-UT pressing hard but LSU, Miami, Auburn, Texas and USC are communicating with him non-stop as well. He did virtual visits with each and is trying to make a true football based decision. Likes a lot about each school I mentioned. Rodney Garner has Tennessee in this one until the end but still a ways to go over the next 24-48 hours, in my opinion.

I’ve been following recruiting for 15 years. I have a feeling we miss on this kid. We may not. There are no definites in recruiting.
