Alex Jones found liable over Sandy Hook hoax conspiracy

Nobody forced him to lie about it... and that meeting showed very poor judgment. How do you not investigate that meeting with everything else that was going on at the time? Including the Russians hacking the DNC and Podesta's e-mails. Rudy Giuliani boasting about having knowledge of what was in the WikiLeaks releases before they were made public, and Trump proclaiming "I love WikiLeaks!" during his rallies.

... and to include a GRU agent in the meeting was just damn stupid. Any experienced campaign manager should have known better than that.

You keep saying the same thing over and over lookin for some quid pro quo. The mental gymnastics that you have gone thru to try and pin something is unbelievable. Like even destroying NATO and such other foolishness.

RG hasn't divulged crap and he said a lot of crap. Trump's own SOS even admitted targeting Assange.

Facts:

Meeting with foreign operatives is not out of the ordinary, even common and anything of election intelligence is such small potatoes. Bill Clinton took money form the CCP and just paid a fine.

They took a meeting with Russian operatives to discuss dirt on Hillary Clinton... and then got caught lying about the purpose of the meeting. If they didn't expect to be included in a special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Election after that, then they are idiots.
Now wait a second though, I thought you said the Carter Page situation is what caused the investigation. Are you changing stories? You didn’t mention it in that post where you responded to someone else about the reasons.

Oh, yes he did in interviews with CNN in 2016.

I'm not going to argue over common f*** sense, The Trump campaign was just asking for a special counsel investigation when they took that meeting. It's not a surprise that Trump Jr and Kushner are a couple of snot-nosed idiots. Manafort should have known better.

You see nothing but through your ideological glasses. I mean we are all guilty of it, but jeez step back and take a look and see how inconsequential that meeting was.
if your DC standard is that pure ain’t nobody making the cut past lunch today

Can you show that the meeting was inconsequential without citing facts established by the investigation?

You could say that about anything.
Fact is it not illegal to meet with foreign nationals and if any info changes hands it is a petty election crime

You actually can’t say that about anything. Using the results of the investigation to question the basis is nonsensical. What was known at the inception is all that’s relevant and at the inception there was a basis to start an investigation.

You may have a subjective belief that the investigation was frivolous or politically motivated or both, but it’s not an objective fact that can only be disagreed with by viewing the facts through partisan lenses.

I didn’t follow the conversation closely enough to know who was saying it, but you guys get this drum beat of “no basis” and “Steele dossier” going and it’s just a transparent attempt to reframe opinion as fact.

PS - The meeting itself was illegal, but the defendant has to appreciate the illegality when they commit the act in order for it to be criminal. The Mueller report said that their team declined to prosecute Don Jr because they couldn’t prove that he understood that what he was doing was illegal.

What should have been investigated is how the woman got a last minute exemption from her travel ban to be at that meeting.

BS
The meeting was not illegal
The fact they didn’t prosecute Jr because he did not know is the most laughable thing I have heard in awhile

Campaigns can’t solicit or accept a promise of contributions from a foreign national.
what contribution?
And if there was what is the penalty?
Bill Clinton took money from the CCP and just had to pay it back
Obama had campaign violations and just paid a fine
Or even HRCs FEC violation right out in the open.
Did not see no Special Council for them
You are letting your hate jump to illogical conclusion that there was some vast Russian conspiracy

What law was violated with the meeting?
Campaign finance violations 😂

Donald Trump Jr. and other Trump campaign officials involved in the June 2016 meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer were not charged with campaign finance violations in part because it would be difficult to prove the participants knew their conduct was unlawful, special counsel Robert Mueller's redacted report, released Thursday, said.

The “most laughable thing [you’ve] heard in a while” turns out to be fact.
The only supplied explanation for your opinion (that you may or may not have initially presented as a fact) turns out to be false.
You completely ignore both.
I’m the one whose “conclusion” (which is something you made up) isn’t based on reality.

Sure. Makes complete sense.

You have not proved anything of value changed hands so no the meeting was not illegal
And even if something did it was petty campaign crime as you completely ignored precedence
Yes laughable justification for such
Only a fool believes it justified and it just led to this further divide in this nation.
Impeachment for such pettiness is stupid

The law prohibits acceptance of a promise, the thing of value doesn’t have to be exchanged; campaign finance violations are not what they set out to investigate; and he wasn’t impeached over it.

If only a fool would disagree with you, then why do you have to keep making stuff up to maintain your opinion?
