I’m not an expert in campaign finance law or federal criminal law. Almost everything I know about the former came from reading the Mueller report. I know a bit about the latter from working with attorneys who do federal defense work, but I don’t practice it and probably never will.

Campaign finance laws make it illegal but not criminal for campaigns to engage in certain behaviors.

There are defined crimes tied to those laws, but those crimes have a higher mens rea element than your normal robbery or rape, according to the Mueller report, which I have no reason to mistrust.

It’s the same with mistakes on your tax return, so I’m told.

Yes the Special Council was appointed to deal with Russian campaign influence, and like a laser went at Trump, and nothing else, all for a LEGAL meeting, which subsequently was or could of been nothing more than a mere "speeding ticket." trying to portray it to some quid pro quo deal with Putin that damages America or got him elected.

BB and yourself in prior posts went with campaign finance illegality, not me. Or you can hang your hat on this vast "conspiracy", that initiated my comments on this thread in the first place.

If only there were an organization … named something like the Federal Election Commission or something like that … which had the authority to investigate and enforce campaign finance violations. Then the esteemed Bobby Mueller could hand off such minor infractions so that they could deal with what falls clearly in their purview. Plus I mean if it was so well documented and we’re this entity to exist they could probably have requested the information and performed their own relevant investigation. But alas… no such information seems to detail how this has occurred. That’s a shame 🤷‍♂️

Repeating the same objectively false statements doesn’t make any of it true, even if you capitalize them to show how mad you are about me not buying it.

So far all you’ve done is demonstrate that your opinion is devoid of a legitimate factual basis. Which is all the more humiliating because the facts are all published in the report of the investigation you’re saying trying to discredit.

You or anybody else could easily go look up the statute in the report, see that you’re wrong, and conclude that you’re not worth taking seriously.

Thank you for pointing out this additional evidence that the investigation was not a campaign finance investigation. It was not necessary, facts are mere obstacles to be overcome for @Orangeburst, but it is appreciated nonetheless.

(The issues were referred to the FEC, 🤡)

It’s a lot like dealing with my wife. Granted my wife is a lot smarter than him and I’m inclined to just give in to her since I have to live with her. But about the same level of estrogen laden emotional irrationality applies for sure.

In fairness, he at least realizes when his made up stuff is losing and resorts to name calling and emojis instead of just repeating it over and over again.

Here’s a suggestion: If you guys are going to live in an alternate reality where Trump is the victim of something other than his own stupidity, why don’t you make up **** that isn’t easily disproven by public record? You could say Trump developed and takes a probiotic that makes his farts smell like freshly baked cookies. I can’t disprove that and I would absolutely expect you to have first hand knowledge.

Literally nobody will touch the work products of the esteemed Bobby Mueller. Not Congress in the impeachment articles. Not the FEC in this clearly major issue. The only feather in his hat is a white collar prosecution completely unrelated to his charter and happened a decade before the so called events he was charged to investigate. Oh and a couple of process crime equivalent of parking tickets.

*The changing sex/frog DNA thing was actually a player in the Jurassic Park story arc.
