They did have 2 and 3 star players, and they werent sitting the bench, they were starting.

hahaa @ too much time discussing UK talent. :salute: Goodnight and dont forget to tip the waitress, I'll be here all week.

you said all they brought in was 2 and 3 * guys that was WRONG

Guys, let's all just agree that Gillespie was more concerned with skirts and brews than he was with basketball.

Dont let the numbers fool you. They had one star player each year mixed with JUCO's and junk. Patterson was the only great find in those 3 years by a long shot and he was the 3rd best power forward in the class that season. UK had so many 2-3 star players starting it was nuts. Sheray Thomas, Orbzut, Micheal Perry, Micheal Porter, etc.

Amen.

please tell me your not starting this over. just go back and read they clearly brought in talent not just 2 and 3 stars. was it calipari level, no, but nobody brings in talent lke that. it was good talent that were top 15 classes and had more than 2 and 3 stars which is what was stated. now what tubby and gillespie did with the talent is where the problem was IMO, but they did technically bring in talented guys according to recruiting services.

I was saying amen to the "Billy" comment. Accidently quoted something else.

Dont see how you havent gotten bored of VN at your current pace. I cant post that much and keep it up.

:)

dont see how you havent gotten bored being a UK fan on a UT board. i couldnt possibly troll around that much without feeling lost and completely out of place.

You two remind me of an older rivalry/slap fight on this board over the last few years, between posters who I am not at liberty to mention. The attacks are much less personal and the scathing vocabulary is absent, but nonetheless it is still reminiscent of the slightly "older days."

oh ok. so you were admitting though that you would like to attend games at TBA and that you are a closet UT fan and are just confused because of your sisters brothers boyfriends mothers daughters infatuation with UK?

1. yes, i would like to attend.
2. I'm only a UT "fan" when they dont play UK
3. My sister is 9...so no.

i root for UK against nobody, how you claim these 2 is just baffling to me. thats like claiming to be a yankees fan but rooting for the red sox when they dont play the yankees.
