^This. Comparing what is happening at the border to the greatest atrocity of the modern world has me almost speechless. It is an embarrassment that our current day politics turn to these type of comparisons. In AOC's tour did they see gas chambers? Did they witness firing squads taking out entire families involving women and infant children? Did they see people sleeping in their own feces in stalls that were comparable to chicken coops? Did they witness people on the brink of starvation to the point that you can basically see their whole skeletal structure?

There is a reason folks become emotional as they approach a place like Auschwitz. Those places are literally the murder scenes of around 3 million people with the intention of wiping out an entire race. You are approaching the instant resting place of a generation who were wiped off the the face of the Earth.

Comparing the concentration camp atrocities to a modern day holding facility is just sad.

Does anyone know what the death toll is at American border detention facilities?

Not to mention that Jews were arrested and forced out of their homes into camps. They weren’t invading another country and many were actually trying to flee their homes. The comparison between the two is ignorant .

You can't keep asking people to not put 2 and 2 together. What obscure house candidate even has the time or the means to daytrip from NY to the Texas border?

I don't even have that much of a problem with a political stunt. Just don't act indignant when somebody calls it what it was.

'Drastically Different,' Hispanic Pastor Says of Tour of Same Facility Visited by AOC

A Hispanic pastor said his tour of the same facility visited by U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Costa (AOC) left him with a “drastically different” perception of the facility. The paster said her comments about the Border Patrol detention facility in El Paso County, Texas, left him “full of indignation.”

“Even as a veteran of immigration advocacy in the U.S., I was shocked at the misinformation of the crisis at the border,” Rev. Samuel Rodriguez told Fox News. The pastor serves as president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and senior pastor of the New Seasons Christian Worship Center in Sacramento, California.

Rodriquez places the blame for the broken immigration system that led to the current border crisis on consecutive White House administrations and especially on Congress — both Republicans and Democrats — who he implored to “address the system they created.”

“We found no soiled diapers, no deplorable conditions and no lack of basic necessities,” Rodriguez explained. He said he asked Border Patrol agents if they staged the facility in response to the negative press. “They unequivocally denied it — we were witnessing the identical conditions the attorneys saw when they toured the facility days earlier.”

Oh FFS...It would be so wonderful if the left knew history or how to research things..

The NYT is and has been a propaganda machine for the DC 3 letter agencies for quite a while. There are sworn testimonies out there validating that.

Use that gray matter and go find out for yourself. I suggest starting back in the 1960's and working forward.

You might be shocked to learn that all MSM, video and print, are on a government payroll somewhere.

I'll disparage the NYT. They are an anti-Semitic organization that ran an anti-Semitic cartoon recently, refused to cover the Holocaust during the 40s, and even before that tried to downplay Hitler's role in anti-Semitism.

They are a terrible news organization; they deserve every bit of hatred they get.
