Wow, you guys really suck at argumentation. Why did AOC take heat for this? Because she was breaking down in front of a parking lot that led up to a tent ciy detention facility. That was the alleged conclusive "evidence" for this being a bunch of BS. What's the hidden (major) premise that would support the idea that she couldn't possibly be showing emotion in front of a parking lot? Something along the lines of "if you're not in the actual presence of suffering or the people that underwent the suffering, then the emotion must be staged." How do you show that's not a true? Present a counterexample, namely one where a person is experiencing a real, genuine emotional reaction even though they're not seeing anyone who actually suffered or the suffering itself. Hence, the example of a person breaking down on the way to visit a historical concentration camp that is now a museum. The person is not in the presence of the suffering that went on there or the people that suffered there, yet the emotion is very real.

Really guys, this is not hard stuff. But this does make it clear how you routinely fall for the howlers put out by right wing media.

We need to plant more green trees across America. But only trees that didn’t grow here when slavery was accepted across the globe. We must cut down all indigenous trees that grew in the south between 1776 and 1865. Those trees are racist and represent the atrocities of white men that continue to this day. We must replace them with trees from a country who didn’t support slavery during those years.

All whiskey must be banned. And just to make sure we’re fully woke, all distilled spirits must be banned. There is also history of the white man growing Hemp in the south. All Hemp related products must be banned. Somebody call the governors of Cali and Colorado and explain to them how racist they are for selling Hemp products and collecting taxes for such an obvious racist plant.

Maybe some day people will recognize that liberal tolerance is anything but tolerant ... that their concept of forced tolerance and forced acceptance of diversity is itself the epitome of intolerance.
