Argentina and Brazil were the largest Nazi sympathizers in the 50's and that is despicable. That was where thugs like Mengele and Eichmann were given safe haven. However, it is fair to point out that the Perons have a very complicated legacy. Under the regime of Juan Peron, poverty was greatly reduced in the country. It actually became a somewhat livable place for the first time. They were immensely popular with the working class. They were not all bad.Harboring Nazis isn’t good.
Just a guess
Deer lowered, Trump has concussed the left so bad they are defending Nazi's as "not all that bad"Argentina and Brazil were the largest Nazi sympathizers in the 50's and that is despicable. Completely understand your viewpoint, but the U.S. was guilty of harboring Nazis as well by bringing in Nazi scientists after the war. Operation Paperclip.I don’t know enough about them to have an opinion. I was answering a question.
But given my family history I’m sure you understand that helping Nazis is all I need to know.
It’s interesting. I was just watching a Josh Gates tv show where they got access to a secretive house on a lake in Argentina. It was the first time this house was allowed to be searched. With metal detectors they found Nazi coins.
We don't reach the moon in 1969 without Dr. Wernher Von Braun. He was a Nazi war criminal who was in a camp where slave labor was used and where many prisoners died (mostly Russian prisoners of war). We made him the first Director of NASA. Our hands were as dirty with Nazi's as anyone.... it just so happens that they were the highly skilled Nazi's... for some reason, we saw a difference.Completely understand your viewpoint, but the U.S. was guilty of harboring Nazis as well by bringing in Nazi scientists after the war. Rationalize anything. We don't reach the moon in 1969 without Dr. Wernher Von Braun. Hmmm... if that is the case, then she has company.Harboring Nazis isn’t good.
Just a guess
How were you able to glean all of that just from Operation Paperclip? So the left's position is ever shifting from Nazi's must be confronted and antifa losers living with their parents are the same as the soldiers on D-Day fighting Nazi's to it's not that bad if AOC says it.
Trump has done a number.
