Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

We don't reach the moon in 1969 without Dr. Wernher Von Braun. He was a Nazi war criminal who was in a camp where slave labor was used and where many prisoners died (mostly Russian prisoners of war). We made him the first Director of NASA. Our hands were as dirty with Nazi's as anyone.... it just so happens that they were the highly skilled Nazi's... for some reason, we saw a difference.
I will make one point. The Nazis the U.S. harbored were put to work advancing science in some way, shape, or form. Not really a defense because they were Nazis. But Argentina actually hid Nazis. They weren't there to contribute to science or anything, they were straight up hiding. And they hid some very bad people. Josef Mengele was known as the "Angel of Death" for a reason. The man was brutal. And Adolf Eichmann was a key figure in the Holocaust. So much blood on his hands. I think the U.S. was wrong to harbor Nazis instead of letting them face trial, but I'm also not aware of us harboring that level of war criminal. Maybe we did, and maybe someone is more aware than I, but Mengele and Eichmann were two of the very worst.

And if the US didn't get them, the Soviets would have.

And not to get into the "our Nazis are better than your Nazis", but there was a world of difference between Von Braun and Mengele and Eichmann. The atomic bomb and other technology made the space race an imperative that we would have lost by letting the Russians gather up all the German scientists and their work.

If you read about Alexander Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg (of the Von Stuffenbergs who attempted to assassinate Hitler) and particularly his wife Melitta Schiller you quickly learn that many "Nazis" were Nazis only out of self preservation. Melitta Schiller was a test pilot (an aviation pioneer like Von Braun was a rocket pioneer) who would never have flown had she not at least tolerated the Nazis ... she was Christian although her grandfather was Jewish and almost her undoing. I think it's important to remember some people in a totalitarian regime are part of the regime and others are along for the ride ... not so much participants or collaborators as survivors. There is quite a history among the German military of even high ranking officers who hated the Nazis but fought valiantly for Germany because they were Germans.

AOC And The Rising Rhetoric Of Revolution

But make no mistake. The socialist-communist attack on the Border Patrol or on Immigration and Customs Enforcement as fascist is no accident or mere theater. It is part of a long-range plan to delegitimize the government of the United States as a whole. Here’s what Ayers and his co-authors wrote in their 1974 manifesto for the revolutionary Weather Underground:

“Fascism in this country is not a challenge to those in power by some more reactionary gang on the outside. Fascism is perpetrated on Third World people from the seats of power: the Pentagon, the Congress, the White House, the Supreme Court. In these places liberal and fascist tendencies compete, but they also connive and conspire. Our strategy must be unity against existing fascism for the liberation of all oppressed people.”

It is the institutions of power in the United States that Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders want to destroy, and they will take any opening to do it. It was the United States Army in 1969. It is the Border Patrol in 2019.

I am watching the news and they are discussing the disrespect of Cortez, Omar and Talib toward their colleagues. To me it is akin to millennials not having respect for human life. There is no awareness but they are just that radical. I could see them creating a revolution that fails badly and restores civility.

What I don't understand is how does an idiot like Cortez has 4.5 mil followers. It's pretty scary.

The New York lawmaker was spotted at the drag show Bartschland Follies at the McKittrick Hotel. She briefly stood on stage and said a few words: “Be who you are. You are beautiful. You are accepted.”

Arias posted a video of the moment to his nearly 16k Instagram followers Monday.

“Alexandria O.Cortez and myself at BARTSCHLAND FOLLIES! I was gagging! She’s Amaxing [sic]! The place went wild! Chanting her name!” Arias exclaimed.

The freshman Democrat also posed alongside drag king Murray Hill, who performed in the show. Hill said Ocasio-Cortez brought “hope” to the room and gave them a glimpse of America’s future.

Yep, I'm gagging alright.......throwing up in my mouth as I type.

AOC will be the next President >>>> Hope I'm dead as a door nail at that time......Good Lord.
The world will really be running on crazy stupid fruitcake logic.
Well I don't know about you but it would be worth hanging on a few more years just to see if the lunacy that's taking hold in this country will actually put this idiot or someone like her in the White House. And what happens when they overturn the 2A as we know it. Find yourself a bolthole and hang on for the ride, it's gonna be epic.

Saladino, he's running for Congress, filed a court case against AOC for blocking him on twitter based on the ruling that as a political figure Trump can't block anybody from his twitter.

Looks like some Republicans are finally using the Dem playbook and going goose - gander on them.

LOL

I have a feeling that these cases will come to haunt the censorship hawks.
