Grinning AOC says she WON'T stop tweeting against fellow Democrats after Nancy Pelosi tears into firebrand and her 'squad' telling Congress members: 'You got a complaint? Talk to me'

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is defying Nancy Pelosi's call to stop the tweets and will not change her social media habits after the speaker delivered a harsh tongue-lashing to her Democratic lawmakers in the Capitol Wednesday morning, warning them to stop tweeting about their colleagues.

'No,' Ocasio-Cortez said with a big grin to DailyMail.com Wednesday afternoon, when asked if she'd be changing her Twitter habits after Pelosi's lecture.

She then went onto the House floor to vote.

The New York Democrat has 4.7 million Twitter followers, almost twice that amount of Pelosi's 2.66 million.

Her defiance comes after the speaker told lawmakers earlier in the day to share their complaints with her and not their followers on Twitter.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is sued for blocking her Twitter critics after court ruled that Trump is not allowed to block his

  • AOC has been blocking critics on Twitter who disagree with her as recently as this week
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is being sued for blocking her Twitter critics, a move which comes after the president was told he was in violation of the First Amendment for blocking his.

AOC, the firebrand Democrat from New York, is being sued by controversial Republican congressional candidate Joseph Saladino, the YouTube prankster known as Joey Salads, and former New York assemblyman Dov Hikind.

Hikind is a Democrat and Jewish activist who says he was blocked on Monday after condemning AOC's comparison of migrant detention centers to concentration camps.

He and Saladino filed their suits on Tuesday in the wake of a court ruling which said Trump was not allowed to block his own critics.

The judge who decided that case said: 'The First Amendment does not permit a public official who utilizes a social media account for all manner of official purposes to exclude persons from an otherwise open online dialogue because they expressed views with which the official disagrees.'

Hikind, who is a Democrat, and Saladino both say the same rules should apply to AOC.

Hikind is a Jewish rights activist. He says AOC blocked him when he criticized her for comparing migrant detention camps to the concentration camps.

'Ocasio-Cortez is acting cowardly and should be ashamed of her attempts to silence me. I’ve done nothing but address her ignorance and disregard for the truth.

'She constantly brags about the millions of followers she has but is afraid of my speech.

'She is a hypocrite. I'm looking forward to the day where she has to unblock me so that free speech in America is guaranteed even when it offends!' Hikind told Fox News about the suit.

Among his tweets to her are some which were originally retweeted by others but that he retweeted calling her a 'Holocaust trivializer' and some of her staff Nazi sympathizers.

Nanny Pelosi may be too old to keep up with her ugly ducklings. Seems like she's having a hard time getting them in line. Dims are required to toe the party line ... it's not optional. Is this where the whips come into play?

First there was Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin, all preaching Revolution.

Now there is Cortez, Omar, and Tlaib, all preaching Revolution.

Let's pray it doesn't come to the shedding of Blood, which is not that far fetcheded, is it?
Nope, not too farfetched. The times they are a'changin'... again.

The only thing one can be sure of, is if you want to sing kumbaya it's likely to be a solo.

For those of you (and there were several) who claimed that Pelosi is an AOC puppet, come forward to collect your prize. Great call!

I definitely think the momentum is behind AOC. It's where the energy is. The Dems are going to go through the same thing the Republican party went through.

Good question.

One thing nobody is talking about though is the definition of "unemployment". Remember it's very tightly defined to exclude a lot of people who could and probably should be considered unemployed simply because they are no longer looking and no longer show up as employable.

The labor participation rate — the percentage of the entire population, working age or not — either employed or actively looking for work was 62.8%, down from 62.9% in March.

...

This has a different and truly chilling view of the labor picture. Labor participation began declining after a high of 67.3% in mid-2000. It dropped to 66.4% in January 2007, just as the economic collapse began, and kept going. Now the country hovers at just below 63% as people have left the workforce.

Sure, Unemployment Went Down - Because More People Left The Workforce
