Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

You can buy the number 3 clippers it takes to cut my hair for less than that. Times must be great in NY under the Trump economy if people are paying that kind of coin for a freaking haircut.

People were paying those prices long before Trump was elected. Just because you get homemade haircuts doesn't mean the rest of America does - especially true of professional or wealthy people.

I believe the point was screeching about wealth gaps and inequality while getting $300 hairstyles is just a little hypocritical , don’t you think ? Do you think that salon needed the 300 or could she have practiced what she preaches and gave that money to a salon say in queens . The do as I say not as I do stuff gets them every time .

Not really. Poor people spend a ton of money on stuff they want, too. If you care about how much a woman spends on her hair, then you must be jealous or have nothing else to worry about.

Actually I have a really sweet Cambodian woman that cuts my hair. $12 + tip. There is zero reason to pay any more.

$300 haircuts. ROTFLMAO

idiots

I don’t care that she does because I believe in free enterprise . I’m not the socialist politician trying to convince people wealth redistribution is a good thing .

Yesterday, Ron Paul was on CNBC talking about how the wealth gap is unfair because 'rich' people can get low interest loans, and if a poor person uses a credit card he has to pay 17% interest. What say you about that?

ANd does the poor woman you mentioned have the money to spend on her nails or hair, or does it kick her debt further into high gear?

What Ron Paul was talking about has been going on for a long time. Nothing new revealed.

The other question? Since I am not a poor woman, I don't know how they are paying for things. Why don't you research that yourself?

Why don't you answer the question in reference to the discussion? Are you afraid to opine?

The second was somewhat rhetorical

Are you really trying to defend someone who champions wealth inequality and socialism then decides to get a haircut that most can't afford?

Why don't you contact every member of Congress and ask them how much they spend on their hair? Then get back to us with a full report so we can see if AOC's haircut was out of line with what everyone else spends.

Some of you are rubes. Do you have any idea what professional men and women spend on hair in big cities? I used to go to a shop in Nashville where the most expensive stylist charged $100 for a men's haircut. I did not go to that stylist but she was booked up all the time.

It must cost Trump a fortune to keep his hair dyed, trimmed and wrapped about his head.

I go to old school barbershops. There are plenty of 7 figure salaried men who will go to a traditional barber and pay 10-20 bucks for a haircut. It's not because they're cheap. It's because of the overall experience.

I get that women's hairstyle's are different, but only vanity will lead someone to seek out a $300 haircut/style when they know they can get similar quality for a fraction of the price.

I'm not sure you invoking the remainder of Congress is going to win any points for you. Congress and senior levels of government has turned into our own form of aristocracy (or oligarchy if you prefer) even though the Founding Fathers didn't want it that way.

Democratic leaders don't pass laws that apply to them. They are the ruling class. The causes they champion are meant for the peasants.
