Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

He frequently references his "personal Vietnam". He has done it too many times now for it just to have been an attempt at humor. Trump is attempting to trivialize dodging the draft when he does this.

Just imagine what the world would have been like if Trump had served in Vietnam and contracted a STD from a hooker. Mean tweets & orange face combined with STD irritation! You should happy America avoided WW3.

I'll hold you to the same standards I hold the attorneys who frequently do what you did. You are attempting to discern his intent and the why. I don't believe you have that clairvoyance.

Tyler says it's a war. I wanna know if I should watch Saving Private Ryan to prep myself before going in to a Trader Joe's.
I think it would be much more akin to hand to hand combat, I'd suggest 300 in that case.

Since I doubt I will ever looked ripped enough for homoerotic fantasy, I'll just shop at Kroger with the other chubs.

LOL

I've never shopped at Trader Joe's. What's it like?
I've only been once and it sucked. Terrible parking lot, the design of the store was weird, absolute craziness inside the store, didn't really have anything that I was looking for.

Is this from personal experience? I have been there a few times. What is wrong with TJ?
I think it was really hyped up to me before I went. Overall there's nothing special about it IMO. Nothing really stood out other than the fact that the design of the store causes people to repeatedly run into one another.

I'm 6'3" 285#s. I'd have to buy that t-shirt with abs to shop at TJ's. Even then I'm afraid I'd more resemble a busted can of biscuits.

anyways, back to AOC.

these quotes are in sequential order from the article:
“After the 6th I took some time and it was really Ayanna Pressley when I explained to her what happened to me, like the day of, because I ran to her office and she was like, ‘you need to recognisz trauma’.”

The progressive lawmaker revealed that she is in therapy to cope with the trauma she experienced from the storming of the Capitol.

“Oh yeah, I’m doing therapy but also I’ve just slowed down. I think the Trump administration had a lot of us, especially Latino communities, in a very reactive mode.”

Ocasio-Cortez said that she learned the importance of recognizing trauma when her father passed away when she was young.

“That happened at a young age and I locked it away. You have to live with it for years.”

She needs to recognize trauma and credits Pressley. But she had already learned the importance of recognizing trauma from her childhood. LatinoUSA is likely winning a Pulitzer for Journalism with this interview.
I love how someone else has to tell her she’s traumatized. That must be some pretty serious trauma to not even recognize it when her victim antenna is always up.

Don't discount the amount of effort required to be traumatized by an event in a place you weren't at.

Eventually, as each party moves further from center, I expect her to be in a position for SOH within a few terms.

Her radical ideas will be the norm and viewed as acceptable among the entire party.
Just think about that. Someone with ZERO real world experience being in that position. And watching it all happen.
