Gender Activists are Invading Your Kids’ Classroom — and keeping you in the dark

’We remember that gender is not binary, right?” asks a teacher. Her fifth-grade students agree. She asks what that means. A student replies: “It means that there aren’t just two types of genders.”

This scene comes from “Creating Gender Inclusive Schools,” a documentary about an elementary school in Oakland as it receives “gender-inclusivity” training from the nonprofit Gender Spectrum, part of an attempt by gender activists to inculcate kids in their radical ideologies—and undermine parents.

The fifth-grade teacher in the documentary continues her lesson by drawing three spectrums on a white board and labeling them: biology, expression, identity. She asks the students to come to the front and plot themselves along each. “I was born as a girl,” one student says, “I usually express myself in the middle.” As for the third spectrum: “On the inside, I feel in the middle.”

Gender Spectrum is perhaps the most prominent organization providing resources on gender in schools. Not only does Gender Spectrum train schools to teach elementary-aged kids that gender is non-binary, it encourages them to keep skeptical parents in the dark about their Gender Support Plan and coaches school personnel to testify in custody disputes in favor of “affirmation,” i.e., pushing kids toward drastic treatments to alter their bodies to match their subjective sense of gender.

This is a combination of paranoia, dishonesty, faux outrage and ignorance.

The topic of my post, which you replied to, was the threats of violence and the acts of violence against public school teachers and school administrators over the enforcement of school policies involving COVID-related vaccine and mask mandates, and public school curriculum concerning Critical Race Theory.

I provided a link to the LA Times, which detailed a series of incidents where death threats and acts of violence were perpetrated against teachers and school board members. You promptly ignored the content of that link (presumably, because your lazy a$$ didn't bother read it), so you could address a separate, unrelated incident, which had been covered earlier.

I have also discussed the misrepresentation of Attorney General Merrick Garland's memo, as seen in the OP, by members of the far right media (including Tucker Carlson), and various posters to this forum. Attorney General Garland did NOT instruct the FBI to investigate parents just for complaining about school board policies concerning vaccine and mask mandates, or for complaining about the inclusion of Critical Race Theory as part of public school curriculum. Such an allegation against Merrick Garland is an outright lie.

Attorney General Garland's memo never even addressed those school policies. The only thing which Garland did address in his directive was the growing number of incidents around the country, involving public school teachers being harassed and intimidated with death threats and acts of violence by angry parents who lost control of themselves during fits of rage.

Perhaps Garland should "stay in his lane", and allow these matters to be dealt with on the state and local levels? I would not disagree with that assessment. However, that doesn't make the misrepresentation of his memo, any less of a dishonest narrative by the far right. Garland's memo did NOT attempt to suppress free speech, and the 1st Amendment rights of parents who wish to peacefully protest and complain about school board policies. Merrick Garland just wants to put a stop to the threats and acts of violence. SHUDDER!!!!

Amazingly, nowhere throughout yet another one of your boring, unabridged posts, did you address the actual blatant misrepresentation of the Garland memo... and that is because you are a hyper-partisan, unread simpleton who sticks to telling half the story, while engaging in disingenuous "straw man" arguments. Your debating skills (or complete lack thereof) reveal an uneducated and inarticulate, hillbilly half-wit, who espouses an erudition which simply isn't possessed.

...said the 5-year running, forum reigning champ of paranoia, dishonesty, faux outrage and ignorance. Which, coincidentally, describes the NSBA's letter perfectly.
My "lazy ass" did read the link and no, your link did NOT demonstrate what you claimed, that it's necessary for DOJ to become involved because "the laws are not being enforced." The link only related allegations and characterizations. And under circumstance where there may be valid concern - such as superintendent Gibson's allegation of receiving death threats - there is no evidence of your adjunct claim that "the laws are no being enforced"; there is no evidence that local/state authorities have/aren't investigating it. Nor that they are not making arrests where warranted.

Let's take other examples from your link:
--A MI man arrested referring to a school board as fascistic by saluting them as Nazis. Gee, that is not violent and is certainly protected speech, and being government agencies both the school and police have violated his constitutional rights.
--Dir. Chip Slaven of the NSBA claims that threatening outbursts have “become very common, and that’s troubling.” ?? WTF constitutes a "threatening outburst"? Slaven doesn't say. He doesn't detail any specific "threat", or that police had not taken action to a threat. Apparently referring to non-responsive school boards as fascist qualifies.
--In the AZ Amador school district incident, all three men were arrested and charged with trespassing.
--At the FL school board meeting, parents dousing a clutch of mask with lighter fluid and firing it is absolutely peaceful protest.

If school board members are actually being threatened, that is illegal and should be investigated and charges levied. There is no indication that is not being done as you claimed. If they feel threatened from passionate, vigorous, loud protest and demonstration that is NOT an actual threat, they can go screw themselves and find another line of work. And CA (or any) police should NOT be employed to "restore order" to these meetings by coercing parents. It's THEIR damned school system.

"And who said protest has to be peaceful, anyway?" remember that bit of Marxsplaining?

The NSBA propagandist letter likening protesting parents to domestic terrorists is THE basis for Garland's initiative; you don't get to own both sides of the argument by separating the DOJ fuse from the NSBA match. Garland's action didn't occur in a vacuum. It is an impossibility for DOJ to have investigated and ascertained in FIVE days that a domestic terrorist threat has beset school boards, that local law enforcement isn't acting, and that the Fed must jump in. The NSBA letter has been taken at face value, in an administration where everyone from military and intel brass, FBI and DOJ has adopted this "domestic terrorism - specifically white supremacists - are the greatest threat, blah, blah....". Again, sell the unicorn elsewhere.

There is a leftist, McAuliffe attitude that parents should not have a say in what their children are taught by their public servants. No where is that more evident than this authoritarian measure adopted by the NEA (and AFT) pledging to defend K-12 curricula of Critical Race Theory, 1619 Project, BLM dogma, the Zinn Education Project (spoor of lifelong commie Howard Zinn) and adjunct Marxian doctrine: New Business Item 39 - 2021 NEA Annual Meeting just as the political right has claimed while the left has laughed it off as "Yeah, if your kid is a Harvard law grad!" Those are the two largest teachers unions in the country and "lazy-ass" intellects such as yourself are either unwitting enablers, or willful enemies of this country - your pick, Champ.

Remember the derision accompanying the claims that CRT was law grad level curricula, that conservatives had invented a boogey man? Yeah, me too.

This resolution was adopted by the NEA (National Education Association), who deleted is as soon as it became publicized:

New Business Item 39
ACTION:
ADOPTED AS MODIFIED

<PREVIOUS
NEXT>
The NEA will, with guidance on implementation from the NEA president and chairs of the Ethnic Minority Affairs Caucuses:
A. Share and publicize, through existing channels, information already available on critical race theory (CRT) -- what it is and what it is not; have a team of staffers for members who want to learn more and fight back against anti-CRT rhetoric; and share information with other NEA members as well as their community members.
B. Provide an already-created, in-depth, study that critiques empire, white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, anthropocentrism, and other forms of power and oppression at the intersections of our society, and that we oppose attempts to ban critical race theory and/or The 1619 Project.
C. Publicly (through existing media) convey its support for the accurate and honest teaching of social studies topics, including truthful and age-appropriate accountings of unpleasant aspects of American history, such as slavery, and the oppression and discrimination of Indigenous, Black, Brown, and other peoples of color, as well as the continued impact this history has on our current society. The Association will further convey that in teaching these topics, it is reasonable and appropriate for curriculum to be informed by academic frameworks for understanding and interpreting the impact of the past on current society, including critical race theory.
D. Join with Black Lives Matter at School and the Zinn Education Project to call for a rally this year on October 14—George Floyd’s birthday—as a national day of action to teach lessons about structural racism and oppression. Followed by one day of action that recognize and honor lives taken such as Breonna Taylor, Philando Castile, and others. The National Education Association shall publicize these National Days of Action to all its members, including in NEA Today.
E. Conduct a virtual listening tour that will educate members on the tools and resources needed to defend honesty in education including but not limited to tools like CRT.
F. Commit President Becky Pringle to make public statements across all lines of media that support racial honesty in education including but not limited to critical race theory.
NBI has been modified by its mover.
Rationale/Background

USA's economy/social order is built on interactions between different cultures/races. To deny opportunities to teach truth about Black, Brown, and other marginalized races minimalizes the necessity for students to build efficacy. The ancient African proverb says, "Know Thyself."

Hmm...that is the largest teachers union in the country. The second largest union AFT (American Federation of Teachers) still claims it isn't in K-12, but pledge to defend teachers spouting the drivel...just in case.

Karl and Friedrich are smiling in their graves.

Yes, he's one of the people listed in the NSBA letter to Biden, initiating the DOJ intrusion into state affairs.

Apparently, "domestic terrorists" don't appreciate their daughters being forcefully sodomized in every orifice in school bathrooms by a trannie in a skirt. And they really don't like it when the school board denies any such attacks in their facilities, even after the rapist trannie kid does it to another young girl.

It was actually an honest question.

Put aside the details (which are horrific, if true) that led up to the incident at school board meeting. And yes, I know that’s difficult.

Does this rise to the level of domestic terrorism in the eyes of AG Garland and the DOJ?

If it did the DOJ would have already filed Federal charges.

I know it was an honest question and my answer was satirical critique of the administration, DOJ, and the left generally.

I'll answer this way; the NSBA letter to Biden is the basis of Garland's initiative. Do you think DOJ and FBI had time in the five days between NSBA sending the letter to Biden and Garland's decree, that FBI had time to investigate the paucity of claims and determine - and extrapolate - there is indeed an exponential domestic terrorist threat directed toward school boards/admin?

If the answer is no, we have an incredibly stupid man heading DOJ. If you don't think he's stupid - I don't - then you have a corrupt AG who took vicious, propagandist characterizations at face value because they already aligned with his ideology. His basis for federal intervention cannot be separated from the propaganda used to initiate it.

Moms Respond to NSBA and DOJ | Moms for America

Moms for America® calls on state and local elected office holders to pass legislation and regulations restricting disbursement of public funds to the National School Boards Association, State School Boards Associations, the Superintendents Association, and the National Association of State Boards of Education. Board members and superintendents who wish to join these non-government associations or participate in their events and conferences can do so at their own expense or by seeking private funds from individuals and businesses in their community.

We encourage moms to file FOIA requests (Public Records Request) with their school districts disclosing the amount of money the district pays each year to the National School Boards Association, State School Boards Associations, the Superintendents Association, and the National Association of State Boards of Education. This money is much better served going to the classroom than to lobbying organizations that fight against parents and promote policies that put our children at risk.

To the DOJ and NSBA, we want to make it clear that moms will continue to show up at school board meetings in even greater numbers to oppose these radical ideas, political agendas, and threats to our children. To those school board members who oppose these mandates and radical ideas but are afraid to speak out, we support you and will publicly stand with you. And, since it is commonly understood that even heated feedback from constituents is to be expected by all those who are elected to public office, those school board members who feel threatened by the verbal challenges of parents may want to consider resignation.

Let it be known that we will use every legal means available to expose the fraudulent waste and abuse of public funds going to organizations that lobby against our children and disregard our parental rights.

Got some examples of this happening? Seems like you have a specific example in mind I havent seen yet.

Yes, I've already referenced this one in others posts. Loudoun Superintendent Told Board Of Alleged Bathroom Assault In May

Rape kit testing was administered to Smith's daughter the same day and conclusive of rape. It appears superintendent Ziegler notified the board on May 28 of the incident. Yet, board members and chair denied in a June 22 public meeting that any incident had occurred. Further, Ziegler did not report it the VA Dept of Education.

Wow. Why werent the cops called by the parents? Seems like that would Trump the school board real fast.

So Garland today basically admitted the data he used to issue the DOJ action was the letter from the school board association.

I guess any trade organization can claim they are being threatened and the DOJ will label their opponents domestic terrorists.
Whoa careful there posting this terrorism on a board that's really only semi-anonymous.

Wow. Why werent the cops called by the parents? Seems like that would Trump the school board real fast.
Police were brought to the school when it happened on May 28, and his daughter was adminstered a rape kit that day.
Here's another timeline:
Parents pointed to two alleged sexual assaults, the first of which the victim's father claims took place on May 28, 2021, telling The Daily Wire his ninth-grade daughter was assaulted in the bathroom by a boy wearing a skirt. Elizabeth Lancaster, the attorney for the father of the alleged victim, said the boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio.

"We can confirm a May 28, 2021 case that involved a thorough 2-month-long investigation that was conducted to determine the facts of the case prior to arrest," the sheriff’s office told Fox News. "This case is still pending court proceedings. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is not able to provide any documents that pertain to a pending case." The sheriff's office confirmed that the case involved sexual assault.

At a June 22 board meeting, Ziegler declared that "the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist," and that to his knowledge, "We don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms."

On Aug. 11, the school board voted to approve a controversial transgender policy, 8040, which requires teachers to call students by their preferred pronouns and requires bathroom renovations to make them more private.

On Oct. 6, at another school, a 15-year-old boy was charged with sexual battery and abduction of a fellow student, the sheriff's office reported. The boy allegedly forced a female victim into her empty classroom where he held her against her will and inappropriately touched her. Reports connect the two assaults, although police have not confirmed to Fox News that they involve the same male student.

"These incidents were reported immediately to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, and LCPS cooperated fully with the investigations," a spokesperson for Ziegler told Fox News. "Any information related to student information is confidential under state and federal laws regarding student privacy." Loudoun County parents demand superintendent resign over alleged sexual assaults in schools
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office recommended the student be removed only from his own school and wear an ankle monitor.

FOX 5 asked Commonwealth's Attorney Buta Biberaj why.

"We believed based on the facts that he had no history of having done this prior to this offense that was alleged," said Biberaj.

She said because of that, there was a belief it was unlikely he would re-offend. She said her office consulted with the family of the victim and the office of probation about the decision.

She said the judge agreed with the recommendation.

"I would ask this: for people to be patient because as we know what sometimes is reported initially is not then what the end result of all the facts are," said Biberaj.

A spokesperson for LCPS said he wasn’t able to reveal if the principal and other administrators at the student’s new school, Broad Run High School, knew of the charges when he started classes there.

The sheriff’s office says on Oct. 6, the same boy, now 15, forced a female student into an empty classroom and touched her inappropriately.

An alert to parents did go out in that case. The sheriff’s office said it was able to resolve the investigation more quickly because the circumstances were simpler than in the prior case. Questions raised after Loudoun Co. student transferred to new school following sexual assault arrest

Biberaj received $861K from Justice & Public Safety PAC, reported to be a Soros funded super pac.

NSBA for SOME reason suddenly APOLOGIZES for ‘domestic terror’ letter bashing parents. LOL
OCT. 23, 2021 12:49 PM BY FRED T0 COMMENTS

Sharing is caring!
The National School Boards Association is trying to “nevermind” their letter basically urging the federal government to ship concerned and involved parents to Gitmo for waterboarding. And if you think that’s an exaggeration, lefties, then you should realize that’s how YOU sound whimpering about parents getting heated on the subject of their children. Over. The. Top. Just like the actual letter from the NSBA.
They got BUSTED by the Free Beacon, and the letter got tied around Biden’s neck and now – ALL OF A SUDDEN FOR NO REASON AT ALL – they are apologizing. Which makes this old man laugh in Texan.
The letter is addressed to school boards but … we all know who they are sorry about miring in muck.
“As you all know, there has been extensive media and other attention around our letter President Biden regarding threats and acts of violence against school board members,” they begin. “We wanted to write you directly to address this matter.”
“On behalf of NSBA, we regret and apologize for the letter,” they continue. “We should have had a better process in place to allow for consultation on a communication of this significance.”
They’re passing the buck to themselves?
LOL. The whole walkback is pathetic like that:

Via Free Beacon’s Noah Pollack.

Too late folks. Trying to get out of it because you got caught won’t fix it for you. OR for Biden.
