I would say because the bastage DESERVED to die. Having him as a prisoner would be a logistics/security nightmare.

Let's take a poll among the people that it matters to most. That'd be Americans in case your were wondering.

Who gives a damn what the International Community thinks. Wasn't their towers. Wasn't their troops that found him. No one else was jumping at the opportunity to go and do the job when it came to the nut cutting. Espeacially not those lying sobs in Pakistan.

Dammit I gotta quit watching this crap. I get pissed everytime I turn it on.

Heard a Lt. Col. last night that seemed pretty informed on Pakistan in general. His opinion was that they knew he was there. Went on to say that country is very divided, and trusting anyone is dangerous. Sounds like they thought it would be they're little secret. As long as we didn't run across the border to get him without notifying them, no one would ever know.

I'm actually surprised we did the raid but am glad it happened. The fact they scrambled fighters tells me they really had no clue what was happening

you don't live in a place for 5 years cut off from the outside world without help from someone. Is the mail so good there that he never got his magazines accidentally dropped in the neighbor's box? That's how I met a couple
