Sounds like Kamara went gangster on the dude because the guy didn't want to wait for another elevator. He will pay the guy a bunch of money. Charges will get reduced and he'll pay a fine.

I'm sure he didn't expect things to go that badly.. karens never do. I am sorry I'm so old school but you don't run up on a group of people talking crap especially when alcohol is involved without expecting something of the sort going down. That is common sense. Should people hand out beatdowns to everyone asking, nope. People need to be aware there are consequences for their actions. Real-life isn't the internet where you can say pretty much whatever behind the keyboard. I just want to make it clear, my stance is, EVERYONE in that situation was in the wrong. Its always the one that retaliates that gets the blame though.

AK is a “professional” , role model, millionaire, etc. Negative publicity in today’s PC world, a simple fight would have been bad enough, but this …? I have no sympathy … unless the guy had a gun perhaps and threatened him in such a way the “threat” had to be neutralized, but that’s not the report.

FWIW, when it comes to duplicate threads... Why needlessly make extra work for the admins/mods who serve us here without pay? How hard is it to post in existing threads? Or... How much glory is there in being a thread starter?

It's just common sense and should be interwebz common courtesy.

The whole "Karen" bit is useless and overplayed. As our culture is rightly working hard to remove all the insidious racist stereotypes--down to Aunt Jemimah getting make-overs--here we are with a pejorative stereotype about white women.

I just got called a "Karen" for finally asking a guy to stop dropping F-bombs around our kids group in line at the ski area.

Made me want to go from "Karen" to "Kamara" on him right then and there...but seemed like it would undermine my original request....

The term I see thrown around VN is "You're a beta" or "You're not an alpha."

That's as silly as the Karen crap to me. I'm not so insecure in myself that I've got to dominate every room or situation.

I see it as "little d*ck syndrome" when folks are too intent on showing their dominance.

Have the others involved been identified? Kicking anyone by anyone when they are on the ground and not a threat should be punished severely. I have jo problem with two going at it to solve a dispute. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

You should check out some of Thomas Sowell's essays. It's interesting to see current black "ghetto" culture and its roots in Southern White (notably Irish) culture of masculinity and honor.

ETA: That is, if you haven't already. Sorry if that came across as assuming what reading you've done, or haven't.
