Ummmm....you seem totally closed minded sir....no offense. I'm not on either side of the fence but it kills me when people talk down on someone and then use phrases like "southern rednecks". It's offensive and generalizes an entire region no matter how educated, kind, or hard working a person might be.

You don't know who's the better man to be honest. Oh, and isn't being underprivlidged in Hawaii akin to being the ugliest bunny at the mansion???

Rich vs. Poor does not equal good vs. evil sir. I'm certainly not wealthy but I am thankful for what I have. Your arguments come across as ludicruous at best.

I think the past 8 years have been as difficult as they get, and with what all happened, I think Bush did a pretty decent job. 9/11, Katrina, Economy, etc -- it was a rough time.

I wish Bush a happy retirement, while he definitely had some funny moments and some questionable ones-- I think he did a commendable job.

As far as President Obama goes -- I'll support him just as I did the last. I think he'll do good things and my expectations for him as a President are no higher or lower than they were for Bush. Seeing how having a black president impacts racial relations in the US will be interesting to see too - hopefully he seizes the opportunity and makes some great things happen!

Republicans are what ruined this country the past 8 years...They are the reason unemployment is at an all time high...They started a useless war and have proven absolutely nothing by it...Defending Bush is insane and whoever does is completely blind....And left a complete mess for Obama to clean up..This is certainly not worth discussing in this area of the forum.

I can think of several things that Bush and Cheney gained by prolonging a war much like Viet Nam. A war that cannot be won and anyone who has ever read a bible should realize there will never be peace in the middle east.

Gas prices soared and Bush & Cheney have a vested interest in oil.

Cheney owns the company that is responsible for feeding our troops, the longer it goes the more money he makes.

I have several friends serving in Afghanastan that are in their forties and they have told me there are men & women in their troop that are in their 50's with the oldest being 61. One of my friends was in the reserve in the Navy who held a position of head of security at Y-12. Uncle Sam sent him to Kansas thru the Army Boot Camp and he is a Sgt leading a troop that sweeps the roads for land mines. Yeah GW has did a helluva job, if he had 4 more years we would be a third world country the way he has destroyed our economy so he could prosper.

To make a correction to this stupid remark. Clinton believed that everyone should be allowed to have a roof over their head. That meant allowing people of little or no income to move into homes that they could not afford. This my friend started the ball rolling-NOT BUSH!!!!! Democrats can deny this all they want, but it is the truth. Another correction:Who was the last president to pass a bill? Answer: NONE. Presidents cannot pass bills the house and the senate pass these and guess who is in control.

My suggestion to you is to go back and crack the spine on your Civics textbook to see how the government runs.
