Amanda Knox

It is kind of funny you focus on the prosecutor because it is apparent you don't really understand the Italian judicial system. He was a pretty minor character in the trial which was mostly led by the Judge Micheli. The prosecutor's role is to gather and present the evidence. The judges do most of the questioning and reach the conclusions independently. The prosecutors aren't trying to put two and two together for a jury. There is no jury. Also, the same team of police officers and crime scene investigators and lab technicians , etc. investigated Guede, Knox, and Solecito all together and the crime scene. There wasn't two separate investigating teams.

Every impartial news organization that has written about the facts of the case has portrayed him as a driven zealot that picks and chooses eyewitness testimony from the incapacitated heroin addict and the actual murderer. His trial strategy was built on innuendos about her sex life and other irrelevant bluster...he was lucky to find an equally depraved hanging judge to rubber stamp this joke. If this is an accurate representation of "The Italian Justice System" you're correct that I don't understand it...seems real convoluted and arbitrary. Throughout this thread you appear to portray yourself as an advocate of this same system...that would explain the deaf ear you present to any facts that don't jibe with the prosecution's case. The Lady Vol logo saga has revealed you to have tunnel vision towards your passion projects...no room for discourse. Now that I understand you I'll try not to unduly upset you.

Impartial news organizations? What fairy tale world do you live in? That's why I try not to base my opinions on news organizations. I read the Micheli report. No wonder you have such a distorted view of the case.

Michelli Report...a prosecution vehicle...I live in "a fairy tale world" where Reuters is more credible than a parchment commissioned by that joke of a justice system...if you don't base your opinion on news and facts, that's hardly anything to hang your deluded hat on.

So the news is facts now? The Micheli report has nothing to do with the prosecution. You sure are knowledgeable about this case. You're really embarrassing yourself. You really ought to read the report. You might learn something. It is only about 100 pages. I know it seems insurmountable for someone who is used to the National Enquirer but you can do it.

I read through it...it actually tries to humanize Guede and give him a lesser role in the killing...I think the old man started working it to the Italian version of the National Enquirer and produced this incomprehensible fiction...it references a murder weapon that was never found...Knox's DNA on one of her own kitchen knives that didn't have any of Kercher's on it. It was an embarrassment to the bumbling fool judge and the fact that you're so enthralled with it shows the total derailment your mind has taken. You can try to pump up your intelligence but it doesn't pass the smell test. This sham of justice has almost run it's course and Amanda can get back to the rest of her life.

So now you realize it wasn't the prosecution who committed Knox to trial but the trial judge in Guede's case? So how is it you are so convinced 100% of Guede's guilt that was built on the same evidence collection and investigation, the same crime scene, the same case, the testimony of the same investigators, but that they are 100% wrong about Knox? Isn't that contradictory and illogical?

Seems like this judge followed the prosecutors lead and this report is trying to whitewash what a mess the investigation was... Doesn't change the fact that the only DNA found mixed with Kercher's blood is Guede's. Semen blood and a criminal background and you act like he needed help from a waif and her skinny boyfriend to subdue her...and the explanation for the absence of any other DNA? "They wiped it down"...why didn't they wipe Guede's away?...since they conspired with him? Laughable at best that they expect cognizant people to buy that garbage...but at least they landed you. :loco:

Jesus jumped up Christ do I have to do everything around here?

Not to jump into an argument randomly but women in general don't typically pick up knives or box cutters and start slashing. It would be completely rare.

dude - I'm pretty sure you can make out nips in the picture I posted. Why are we talking about the case?

Wasn't a box cutter. Just your standard kitchen knife.

Now read the Massei Report. Actually read it. They found all kinds of evidence on Knox and Solecito. In most criminal cases it usually only takes one piece of physical evidence to incriminate someone. They had many pieces of physical and circumstantial evidence that tied Knox to the crime including blood evidence. She also made incriminating statements that tied her to the crime. And, the only knife they found that was compatible with the murder weapon had her DNA on the handle and Kercher's DNA on the blade.

That report says she did it out of sexual curiosity...who are we to argue with science?

You keep saying "all kinds" and refer to that report, but you can't actually list facts. There was a knife that had Knox's DNA but not Kercher's...and it wasn't the murder weapon! It was from the kitchen they shared. The whole purpose of that report was to attempt to justify the court's weird theory that Guede ONLY wanted to rape her and Amanda stabbed her with Sollecito's help because they were horny! They could have proven that depravity if they had recovered that vibrator and pack of condoms one of the witnesses alleged Knox to have...weird all over...creepy judge and prosecutor and the posters who love them...on the next Geraldo

A vibrator and condoms make you weird?

My wife will need to be informed of this situation.

Those alleged items were part of the justification for indicting her...proved she was depraved...I'd advise against traveling to Italy. :wink2:

Sure I can list facts. I've read almost every sentencing and appeals report involved in the case including the Court of Cassation's report. The one problem you are making is you are picking out certain pieces of information but not really understanding them within the context of the case. Also, you are wrong about the DNA evidence. The knife in question had Knox's DNA on the handle and Kercher's DNA on the blade-it's in the report. Also, there was copious amounts of other physical evidence that tied Knox to the crime and how this evidence fit into the reconstruction of the crime that made sense. The scenario that Knox and her lawyers painted and recounted just didn't fit the evidence and with their and the witness statements. The crime had to be fit together like a puzzle and the only scenario that fit everything was the one reconstructed in the report written by the trial judge Massei. I used to believe as you do regarding Knox's innocence until I actually started reading the reports. Massei was a very thoughtful and introspective jurist. No axe to grind there and no reason to wrongly convict Knox.
