They handled Amanda with kid gloves. I think they just wanted the case to just go away. But their system couldn't ignore the facts of the case. And, they believed Meredith should have justice.

Also, here is the Criminal Code Art. 544.3 Dispositivo dell'art. 544 Codice di Procedura Penale that required the court to file their motivation report within 90 days. They totally disregarded and took 5 1/2 months and if the media article is true their justification was there was no evidence that Amanda or Solecito were in the room. They do agree that Guede must have had accomplices but they just don't know who. So, they totally disregarded all the other evidence.
