Amateur Hour Continues

Deflection? How are they not the same?
Because they had their moment with that story from 8 months ago, this democrat just made these statements but that's what these libs always do, their only reply is always "but Trump" blah blah blah. They can never address one of their lunatics being wacky

When President Donald Trump was asked by an ABC reporter at the G20 summit news conference on Saturday about the policy commonly referred to simply as "busing", which was a topic of debate between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden at the most recent Democratic Party Primary debate last week, his response gave the strong indication that he didn't have an understanding of it's meaning in the context of desegregation.

For those as clueless as Trump seems to be, desegregation busing in the United States is the practice of assigning and transporting students to schools so as to readdress prior racial segregation of schools, or to overcome the effects of residential segregation on local school demographics. This was a controversial topic in the early 70's (when Trump would have already been in his mid-to-late 20's).

For the record, these were Trump's very simplistic and seemingly confused comments after he was asked about "busing":

"You know, there aren't many ways you're going to get people to schools. So this is something that's been done. In some cases, it's been with a hammer instead of a velvet glove. And you know, that's part of it ... But it is certainly a primary method of getting people to schools." - President Donald Trump

One wonders, if he had been pressed on what he meant by "it's been done with a hammer instead of a velvet glove" if he would have been able to explain that metaphor in this context or if he was just repeating a line that he had previously heard on "Fox News" when the topic of "busing" was being discussed? However, the ABC reporter who asked the question was not allowed to ask a follow-up... but did laugh at Trump's response, as did most other Americans who were in the room (but not as ignorant as Trump on the topic of busing).

This demonstrates something very telling about Trump:

Donald Trump is definitely ignorant on this topic. That is either the result of a lack of education on the civil rights movement or evidence that Trump lived a very sheltered life when he was young (in his 20's). I tend to believe that it is a combination of both.

LOL...you had me at but Trump.

Ridiculous.

I don't think he's at 50%. He's somewhere between 30-50%. If it's the latter, there's no chance in 2020. This is why I am sure he will win Florida.

Seems quite rare, given all the playing hours Nike has on the courts.

I'll be fair and ream more than Nike for that.

Considering DeSantis and Rick Scott won in 2018 during a bad Republican year... I wouldn't count on it. There's a lot of time though.
That is true ... but those were also two very close elections. I said that Florida would be in play, not necessarily that the Democratic Party nominee would win.
