We all know why Trump is having this "Social Media Summit", which was attended by some of the biggest purveyors of disinformation in the Social Media Universe. It has nothing to do with bias or discrimination, he is having it so his lackeys on social media can organize and spread more disinformation prior to the 2020 election. Because the typical Trump supporter has no interest in the facts, they will eat it up and believe every word of it. Trump is doing what he does best, grifting.

The White House did not invite any representatives of Facebook, Twitter or YouTube to attend this "Social Media Summit". That should tell you everything you need to know about it's actual purpose. The Trump Administration isn't trying to be diplomatic and explain their grievances to anyone that is in a position of authority to enact meaningful changes concerning social media. The Trump Administration just wanted to have a "whine and cheese" luncheon with like-minded people, who will agree with everything they say and who wont counter their arguments with any facts which might derail the narrative that they wish to advance.

By Trump's definition of a "summit", FDR and Churchill would have proceeded accordingly...

FDR: We need to have a summit, and discuss the future of Germany in the post-war, Winston.

Churchill: I whole-heartedly agree, Mr. President... but let's not invite Joe. He might want a piece of Germany for the communists and that will never do.

That was not a summit at the White House today, guys. It was a farce.

Trump hasn't been a fan of the 1st Ammendment. He has a history of blocking his critics on Twitter. I suppose he'll keep doing it in spite of the court rulings finding that he has been violating free speech.

I guess if he separated the POTUS account from his personal account, he wouldn't have any issues.
