Anarchy In Portland

Please educate yourself and take off the blinders.

It’s funny that you wonder why the R party gets called a cult now. Supposedly the party stands for liberty, but now they cry for government control of the citizens just because the angry citizens aren’t from your team. You don’t actually STAND for anything but team red and dear leader. I love that the party of cucks loves to hurl that term as an insult so frequently now... projecting I guess.

I'm telling you know, I don't think you should be celebrating Pappas and the victim. Yes, decry the shooter. He's a POS, but these two Patriot Prayer boys are/were bad news. You don't want them as GOP heros.

There should be collaboration, actually, but we all know spitefulness reigns in 2020.
Was the turning down of federal assistance not done out of spite? These liberal safe havens are literally burning to the ground yet the leaders seem to want to go down with the ship instead of just plugging the small leak

If this is educating yourself...it is too late for you.

Sort of what's been said about Floyd, Blake, ect...?

Edit: Late. PJ bested me.

There is only division and protest in “liberal safe havens”? Enlighten me.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing but the larger issue is when there is a void in leadership then this is what happens. It is the job of the mayor to understand this is what happens eventually unless you are a moron in charge.

There's nothing safe about a liberal safe haven. You go to a liberal "safe" haven, you are more likely to be a victim of violent crime.

It's not okay for anyone to destroy property. A president should be encouraging law enforcement to do their jobs and quell the vandalism and acts of violence. A president should not be encouraging fellow citizens to take up arms against the vandals and looters.

Your President HAS been encouraging law enforcement to do their jobs, the Mayors and Govs to let them do their jobs for 100 days or so.
WTF are you talking about?

Open your damn eyes man!

It is times like these, when I am frequently disappointed by my party. It is possible to respect the voice of the peaceful protesters while also enforcing the law. Too often, latitude is given to those who exploit a social protest for their own selfish desires. I will still tell you that the voice of the peaceful protest is out there... but it is the right who would prefer to emphasize the acts of theft and vandalism.
Agree with the bold.

To the last, you can't turn your head locally while all that stuff goes on then complain why the other side is making that the point. Much less skip completely over the mayor(s) that don't do their job to target the president for whatever it is you think he's supposed to do. Unless you re just rolling with straight political games and not looking for a real solution. Nobody on the ground will win the blame game.

Once the fire gets so high you have to get more drastic in measure to put it out. Its there now and has been there for awhile.
In this case the mayors are either going to have to put these same cops that they are not supporting back out there with the backing to forcefully put it down or roll with the alternative of the feds.

Cover your ears cause neither will be pretty.

Protest is acceptable and welcome in this country. Riots, looting and destruction are limited to certain places and it seems those areas are also fairly homogeneous politically. If this wasn't because of politics this would be happening all over
