Because Georgia, OSU, Michigan, TN and anyone else in the top 15 not including the PAC-10 could beat them with ease.

I bet you said the same thing about Clemson before their first playoff performance.

Michigan isn't beating them with ease.

You do realize good teams exist outside of the SEC right? NFL teams aren't compromised of only SEC players.

Ranked wins count when you play them. Otherwise, we would only have 2 ranked wins since Florida, Pitt, and UK(well after tonight) won't be ranked.

And? Bama was #1 when we played weren't they? Are we counting they win any less?

Let's remember that Bama also struggled against Texas without their starting QB. Honestly, Bama should have lost that game if they Refs called that safety like they should have.

I'm not comparing TN to TCU. I'm telling you how many wins they have vs ranked opponents, which, like it or not, goes into CFP rankings.

Seriously?? What are you telling me?? That TCU has 2 wins against the current #23 and #18 ranked teams means more than TN's wins against the current #7 and #9 ranked teams?

Is that your argument?

I'm telling you that an UNDEFEATED Power 5 conference champ isn't getting in over a 1 loss power 5 team that didn't make their conference championship game. That's what I'm telling you. You don't have to like it. I certainly don't. But thems the facts jack.

And we'll see.... I think a 1 loss (to the #1 team and wins over 2 top 10 teams) will mean more than an undefeated team that has struggled to be so (and only has wins over 15th or lower ranked teams).

Being the champion of a s****y conference doesn't mean more than being the 1 loss runner up in a competitive conference

Otherwise, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (6-1 conf and 9-1 overall) would be in the discussion..... but they aren't
