That's not the original
Claiming failed drug test as injurys?
Yeah! The drugs went to the back of Brain Williams and caused his injury! :shakehead: I knew there was more to that situation and there was. Good grief! Remember watching the announcers talking about Brian's back injury during both the South Carolina and Kentucky game?
That's just awful! The announcers were reporting on false information. No wonder Pearl is gone! I don't believe the crying in his apologetic speech about the NCAA violations now. It was all a put-on. He doesn't seem to be able to tell the truth. That's bad news for future coaching considerations.

If it comes out that Pearl and Co. covered up a failed drug test, and actually had Brian fake a back injury to the whole country, he'll never coach again, anywhere.
I not sure if that is what happened, but holy hell if it did.

Yeah, if it comes out that that's an approximation of what happened, his career is over.
Still no follow up on the story from last night from our crack team of Knoxville journalists, I see. Must be too busy backslapping players after spring practice.

That's not what happened. If you go back and look in the threads about williams being out 1 maybe 2 games, I kept saying, he's out for KY also then his back will be better. Nobody really figured out I knew what was going on then. People at UT knew about this and it wasn't a Pearl lie and cover-up. That was out of his hands. I'm really not sure why they just didn't say "team rules" issue. But, I did know he would be out two games because of the substance issue.
So, in short, Pearl didn't lie about that. From what I know it was done by the whole system over there. Maybe that happens often and we just don't usually know it. That was the first time I knew of this happening, but doesn't mean it doesn't happen a lot. It was by chance that I knew of this when I did.

He didn't take credit for it, he retweeted what someone else said.
