An Alabama man with a lengthy history of child abuse charges is now accused of murdering a 5-year-old girl.

Jeremy Tremaine Williams, 37, was arrested Monday and charged Tuesday with capital murder in connection with the death of Kamarie Holland, 5. He faces the death penalty if convicted.

Police said she died by asphyxiation and showed signs of sexual assault. They are not ruling out more charges against Williams.

Williams was also a suspect in the murder of a one-year-old boy in Alabama and was accused of lowering a three-year-old boy into a bowl of boiling water in 2009.

A Pennsylvania Democrat Commissioner was arrested and charged last week for raping a 15-year-old boy back in 2017.
50-year-old Marvin Smith reportedly lured the teen into his car in Philadelphia in August 2017.

According to reports, Smith told the juvenile he would give him a ride home, however, he drove the boy to a remote park and sexually assaulted him.
The juvenile reported the sexual assault to Philadelphia police in April 2019.

It is unclear why the investigation into the sexual assault of a minor took more than two years before Smith was arrested.

Darby Township commissioner Marvin Smith was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy after luring him into his car in Philadelphia in 2017.​

Smith, 50, is a Democrat elected as the commissioner representing Darby Township’s First Ward in 2019. He is charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, luring a child into a motor vehicle and other offenses, Philadelphia Police Department spokesperson Eric McLaurin confirmed on Friday.​

Smith turned himself in Tuesday. A warrant had been issued for his arrest on Nov. 22. Court documents show Smith posted his $100,000 bail on Wednesday and was released pending his next court date scheduled for Jan. 5​

In April 2019, the boy told Philadelphia police he had been sexually assaulted by Smith on Aug. 12, 2017, McLaurin said. The alleged victim was 15 at the time of the incident.​

According to court documents, Marvin Smith was released from jail after he posted a $100,000 bail pending his Wednesday court date.

Eric Santibanez Cardenas, a 40-year-old illegal alien who used the alias Julian Solis-Cardenas for years, was arrested late last month in High Point, North Carolina on charges of sexual assault of a child after having been on the run from Nevada police for more than two decades.

According to police, Cardenas has been wanted in Las Vegas, Nevada since May 2001 on four charges of rape of a five-year-old boy. More than 20 years later, police tracked Cardenas down in North Carolina and teamed up with other agencies to arrest him.

USA Today is facing some tough questions after deleting a tweet that appeared to defend pedophilia or at least explains it in a nuanced way that, well, raises tough questions.

A pedophile is an adult who is sexually attracted to children, but not all pedophiles abuse kids, and some people who sexually abuse kids are not pedophiles,” and was posted at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. A dead infant found in the dumpster at a notorious Mexican prison may have been used as a drug mule, authorities said.

The horrifying discovery was made by an inmate looking for plastic bottles at the overcrowded Puebla prison last week, Mexico News Daily reported.

Local authorities said the baby boy had a surgical incision in his abdomen, suggesting that the infant had been used to smuggle drugs into the prison, the outlet reported.

A 9-year-old girl from Mobile, Alabama, is accused of beating her 4-year-old brother to death with a broomstick, county records show.

Authorities have also charged the children's aunt and caregiver Yolanda Denise Coale, 53, with aggravated child abuse of a child under the age of six. She is being held on $150,000 bond, according to county filings.

Mobile police responded Feb. 3 at 8 a.m. to reports of a child with a medical injury at a home on Jacob Drive. Upon arrival, authorities found the deceased 4-year-old boy with previous injuries, signifying "long-term abuse," an arrest report reads.

Coale woke up the morning of Feb. 3 to the sound of children screaming and found the girl beating her brother, according to court documents.

Coale, who was previously arrested in 2005 for allegedly giving alcohol to a minor, pleaded not guilty to the latest charges in Mobile County court Wednesday morning, according to WKRG.

Officers arrived at her home and found blood on the front steps and could hear a woman singing. The woman allegedly sang louder as they knocked on the door.

A woman in Englewood, Tennessee, has been indicted on charges connected to sexual encounters with high school students, and the community is speaking out on the matter.

The McMinn County Sheriff’s Office said 38-year-old Melissa Blair faces charges of solicitation of a minor, 18 counts of aggravated statutory rape, four counts of human trafficking by patronizing prostitution, and forfeiture of personal property, News Channel 9 reported Wednesday.

She was accused of engaging in the sexual encounters inside McMinn Central High School.

A mother to one of the alleged victims said her son claimed Blair contacted them via social media to offer things such as vape pens for sexual favors.

“People focus mostly on the perpetrator, they don’t realize how it devastates a family. How the families are at home, and we don’t know what to do next. I have no idea how to go forward with this,” the woman told News Channel 9.

A man accused of raping 4-year-old twins in Pennsylvania attacked two officers who tracked him down to a Midtown homeless shelter Tuesday and then escaped, cops said.

Suspected fiend Isaiah Metz, 22, was at the Antonio Olivieri Drop-In Center on West 30th Street near Eighth Avenue in Manhattan when an NYPD detective and an investigator from the city Department of Investigation – both part of the Regional Fugitive Task Force – showed up to arrest him about 4:15 a.m., police said.
