Any chance Tayven Jackson beats out Milton next spring?

The score is not s result of the QB. We would have had 70 by the 3rd quarter if we had Hooker. The RBs and O-Line had big days due to the play calling changing once it was realized Joe is the same ole Joe from last year. I bet our rushing yard are larger than our passing yards this game.
As suspected. 341 rushing yards to 147 passing yards as of right now. What does that tell you?

I think It is Milton's job to lose unless TJ or Nico come out and look much better which is unlikely considering Milton has 2 years in the system and the arm he does. I think the way Milton handles himself and the leader he is on the team will be hard to overcome, that doesn't mean he is necessarily the best of the 3 but we will see.
Not saying Nico will start but he has an arm too and his accuracy is light years ahead of Milton's..

Cannot compare his accuracy against HS teams to SEC competition. Nico is not a sure thing. He may be all that we hope he will be or he may be a bust. It’s how you handle game pressure that decides how good of a QB a player can be.

You're dreaming if you think Joe helped with that tonight. He was less than 50%. You have to complete passes to open those lanes via a passing game.
56-0 against our rival says otherwise!

Imagine if he started all year???

Damn it sucks to be wrong 🤣🧡

Thanks coach. I guess we'll see next year...

Did you just see the miss to Fant? No way is he leading to 9-10 wins.
That one was on Fant. He stumbled coming out of his break. Milton could've put it a little closer to him, but if we're not playing in a downpour, that's a TD. This was not a optimal game to be a QB to be fair. Let's see how he does in the bowl game.

People need to calm down on the Milton stuff. He’s not Hendon Hooker. We will never see another Hooker. Ever. The offense will take a step back regardless of who is at QB.

This was Milton’s first meaningful snaps in over a year. And it was pouring down rain. I don’t know what he will be, but to write him off over tonight is crazy.

He’ll have to learn the offense and make decisions at college speed.
I get that. That's why I didn't say he will start. From early indications though, his accuracy appears to be on another level compared to Joe. Joe couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight.... against Vandy. Wait till he plays against a real defense that puts seriius pressure on him...
