Word on the street.

- Brooks is gunning for a “Sunday Job”
- Webb disappears
- Nico is coming
- Ed Spillman needs to stfd before hurts somebody
- Peyton Lewis is the future
- Dline was dominant
- Big Scrimmage by Brooks. He’s come out of nowhere

Is Brooks really looking that good or is this some coltan jumper type ish where they hyping him just to let everyone down? If he really is ballin, good for him and excited to see him play.

Beamer was involved.
Color me shocked…
Yep. Would not surprise me at all if he was involved with the Michigan assistant in 2022 that was scouting games of potential playoff teams and offering it to their opponents. SCar sure seemed to know everything we were doing on offense that night.

Beamer was fined before being at SC in the past $25,000 for receiving information he shouldn’t have on an opposing team. That game against us SC players wore wristbands during the game to receive play calls , they never wore wristbands before or after that game.

Actually I think they also wore them against Clemson but those were the only two games they were bands which match their two upsets…. Funny how they go together

Good report. No major injuries. Bishop ran good per JH. DL was dominant. QBs played well. Brazzell & White made plays as did Davis at TE. DBs made some good plays also. Overall JH appears pleased.
CJH has mentioned Bishop several times, I think he really like the way he competes.

Ppl forget he abused 6A ball in state he is the greatest player to Ever come out of karns… you don’t run for as much as he did on a roster like that in 6A ball without some skill to you… think we got a super steal in d bishop.

Earlier in another thread, we had a conversation about whether the defensive backfield was a "weakness" or just an "unknown."

This should be reassuring to those who thought of the unit as a weakness:

Tonight, played some really tight coverage down the field. Just ... Within the game, the subtle details that allow you to play it at a really high level, in particular our corners tonight, I thought they did a really, really good job.
-- Coach Heupel

You may think that's just coach speak, but Josh isn't the kind of coach who just throws platitudes. He thinks about his answers, and he's bright. I think he meant every word of it.

I think we're gonna be absolutely fine on defense, at every position group.

Go Vols!

After watching the PC, I'm a little surprised. I hope the next scrimmage report is a good. Usually the first scrimmage is met with more critique from the HC.

So Brooks has a chance to play in the NFL? Is that what that means?

What do you mean Webb disappears? CJH was just praising him in the press conference.

C. Jumper was ready to play when he got his opportunity, Brooks too. Another year in the system probably helps keep the job.

I’m afraid it’s gonna be the latter.
