Where is the closest airport, trying to get tickets and get set up to go anyone have any info that will be helpful? I found the game tickets for $104 a piece on stubhub, anyone think I could get cheaper and better? IS there a travel agent anyone would recommend that would put a good package deal together? Thanks in advance.

Closest airport is Oakland (OAK), followed closely by San Francisco (SFO) and slightly farther by San Jose (SJC). OAK is the best bet, though.

He's a troll guys. I doubt he is even a Cal fan.

As for getting tickets, we haven't even ordered our season tickets yet, so i very much doubt that someone could already be selling tickets to the game. Tenn allotment should be around 7K, so best bet would probably be to get it through them. There aren't many bad seats in memorial stadium. I've sat in the equivalent of the visitors seats before and they are better than any visitors seats I've sat in in any other arena.

Heck, for that matter I'd travel there just to sit up on that bluff and watch the game. That is one cool setup.

If I have to make a Cal-Tennessee T-shirt, it would be:

Front: Nate Longshore and Joe Ayoob got raped and ran for their lives; Syd'quan Thompson were tortured by Meachem, ugly Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett were wrapped up by Tennessee players.

Back: Fake and the most overrated Jeff Tedford with his shxtty face, the background is "35:0, should be 60:0."

I bet you ESPN Gameday will be in berkeley too. The only other major game that day would be ND/Georgia Tech.

Here's a shirt for you -

Front: I Got Owned By

Back: Subject-Verb Agreement

Droski, do you happen to know the visitor sections - like, the actual section letters? I'm definitely going, but waiting to purchase tickets in July/August. I do NOT want to sit with Cal fans, as much as I like you all.

The visitor's section is O and OO, right behind the band. They're not on top of each other, rather adjacent. Their band sits almost exactly where our band sits in Neyland. The visitor section is between the "General Admission" and "Young Alumni" section.

it is in O and OO but the band is next to the students. really not anywhere near the visitors section (unless you mean the tenn band?)

Yeah, sorry. I meant our band. It's still close to Cal's band, though. In Neyland, the bands atleast sit on opposite sides of the field.

Which means Gameday will be in South Bend. You Cal fans are going to have to get over the delusion that your program is even marginally relevant on the national stage.

both our teams will be ranked significantly higher (10 to 15 spots) than Georgia Tech or ND. Our game will be on ESPN or ABC, theirs will be on NBC. They wont promote a game on NBC over a game on their own network that isn't as attractive. I don't think i'm being delusional in the slightest.

If anyone on here thinks this is going to be another blowout, they are wrong. This is going to be a close game.
