I did. In scanning quickly, I mistook "your" for "our." My apologies.I think you misinterpreted what I mean. I've seen a handful of Cal fans predicting a Cal blowout, which is the least likely outcome. From most likely to least likely:
1. UT in a TD or less win
2. UT win by more than a TD
3. Cal in a TD or less win
4. Cal in a blowout
And Lynch and Forsett being manhandled... until the 2nd team came in
Tennesee's game against Air Force goes in the W column. Cal takes the big L against Arizona. In case you guys didn't get the news out in the Bay Area, "You play to win the game."
lynch averaged 5 yards a carry in the first half. the o-line lost 3 players to the NFL last season (2 guys currently starting in the NFL). Our run blocking stunk for the first half of the year. We have 2 first team all pac-10 olineman returning, as well as 2 guys that saw a lot of playing time last year, so that shouldn't be an issue this year. You also lose that monster at Dline right?
Real programs don't make excuses for losses like that. It makes it even more pathetic. I was actually sitting in Norman watching the OU -Texas Tech game that night. I spent the entire first half laughing every time they posted the Cal-'Zona score. I spent all of last offseason trying to tell everyone what a joke Cal's program is. I was, of course, proven correct. Looks like I'll have to do it again.s happens. Your air force win was at home right? Our loss was on the road. One of 5 things goes our way and we win that game. Did you actually see the game or are you just flaming?

Droski, I like you, but you're the opposition, so I have to say this: you could easily cut these long excuses out by saying Tennessee 2006 was a better football team than Cal 2006. It's easier on your fingers.
No, I'm simply looking at the schedule you play in an average year. After we're done annihilating you this year, I'm Tedford, et al will ensure your nonconference schedule gets scaled back, thus making the PAC 10 tilts your only games of consequence.so you think Oregon is better than tenn? Or are you saying you are better than USC?

Put about two decades of quality football together. Last year, Cal was in the 20-25 range. Historically, they're in the 50-75 range.so what exactly does Cal have to do to get your respect? If we beat you next year, that means you suck right? Do we have to win the national championship? No one has ever claimed we were national contenders every year. Last year only corso picked us to win the NC, and he is hardly the average commentator. So what was a proper ranking for us last year? Outside of the top 30? You did say there were 30 programs you respected more than Cal right?
