I missed where I made any correlation whatsoever to Miami finishing 8-5, and Tennessee's chances of doing the same this season.

The fact is you guys are projecting Miami's late 80s swagger on a Tennessee program that isn't nearly as talented. Get back with me in three years when Kiffin's had a chance to build the program.

I comprehended that you think Kiffin will bring the same swagger and success to UT that JJ brought to Miami.

I guess the only objective way to measure this is to check back four years from now to see if Kiffin's won two national championships.

Considering Miami did what Tennessee hasn't done in half a decade, you're probably right.

After all, if your team can't do it you may as well jump on the UM bandwagon like the rest of their fans.

I'm not going to BS, it would be great to see a program in anyway recreate the badassness and aura that the 1980's Canes had. Never happen again, but it would be entertainment.
