Anyone know 100% who is coming back?

That will take about $3 million from the AD for the coach and their staff and about $2-3 million in NIL money. No 'name' coach will come without the NIL resources being available.

Since you guys are so committed to the idea, how much are you and @Deebowbear willing to contribute to each?

LSU made an investment in their coach first. Get the leadership right the rest takes care of itself.

Who’s saying I don’t already? Believe we’ve covered this topic before.

Typical deflection, but you'll need to commit about $500K to show you're serious, or are you guys those people who always have great ideas about spending other people's money?

Say bye to LVS women’s basketball means they don’t care or AD don’t have the balls to upset the Pat Tree

How’s that deflection. Believe asking personal finance falls under, stay in your lane. You want to share how much your courtside seats are or how much your business pulls a year? Or you want to deflect?

And to answer your question…believe I can question where my money is being used.

The rank teams stat 12 out of 34 says it all
The good part is support is optional it is not forced. Seems the decision would be because enough support is still there. Let us see if she can improve that roster and get it going in the right direction. Her problem has been recruiting needs to move to a higher level.

Does Karo, Wynn, Puckett stay? What do they have to lose to transfer to go finish out their basketball career playing more. Heck possibly even get developed more because the current coaching is not going to do it. I don’t see a National Title in Tennessees future so what do they have to lose to potential get picked up by a better program that will utilize each of their skills better.

Puckett is starting so guess that leaves her out. The other two would seem silly to leave with one year to play, but we'll see if they want to do something in the next few weeks. We might be better off for the future if a couple of one year players did leave and we could replace them with two years to play players. I don't want anyone to leave however, but they do have the opportunity.

Don't let fact interfer at all, but not sure how Sara Puckett could find a place to play more and to be more developed. She's averaging 27 mins per game, 4th on the team.

Sara's also having a quietly excellent year. She's a player who's playing exactly the way her role was envisioned and doing so consistently. Avg 10 pts and 5 rebs per game, shooting 46% fm field (sorta tied w Rickea for 1st on team, RJ is a few .10ths of a point ahead) and 35% fm 3, tied w Jewel for team best. Shoots 83% free throws, best on team.

Not all players here get super developed, but Sara Puckett sure has.

Both Wynn and Striplin have improved this year, and I'd be totally shocked if they transfered. As the roster stands now, both will have huge roles next season.

This what makes this board so difficult right now. The piss on everything crowd actually want to force non support. Want to preach endlessly that not only do they hate everything, but everyone else has to also or else we're stupid sheep. They also have the comical delusion that us refusing to piss on everything makes doomsday get here that much faster. They refuse to accept! And guess what, unless you buy season tickets or are a donor, exactly zero people care and it makes zero difference to the real world situation.

Attendance was actually up a bit this year, a little over 9,000. 7th or 8th in country I think.

Look at the stands at a Missouri, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Fla or KY game. It's literally a few hundred scattered around. Ole Miss is definitely a team on the rise but Yo had to scold and plead to get 3,000 against us. IMO, our continued attendance is pretty amazing.

That said, if we don't get a really big portal haul I expect attendance to take a hit next year. But no where near underling SEC attendance levels.

Will eventually to turn on her if she can't get it going in the right direction. Right now it is mostly just the malcontents that have a fire everybody post up for every coach. I can understand another season as looks like recruiting is far more positive for 2025 and we have a lot of players coming back in 2024 just need to add the right players to them. She didn't do quite enough in that regard last season so this one needs to identify and get the top players we can or top post and point guard we can in the portal.
Honestly I wasn't against a change of coaches, but I am also ok with another season with Kellie Harper. I need to see that she is understanding what type of roster she needs to compete successfully in the SEC and the schedule she is making. I thought the Non conference should've been a couple of games easier. NCAA seems to not care who you play if they did NC and MIch St wouldn't be seven seeds and us an eight.

The only way is to get rid the assistants and tell most player players to transfer out and recruit like hell and change being so picky with recruits change of the ways she coaches and hire a good defensive coach Wynn Tess and sister ace Jillian. Keep Key and Sarah if wants to stay for backup only same goes for wells strplin and spears need to stay

Of course some of us non-pissers are concerned at our lack of hs recruiting wins, our upcoming crazy quilt out of balance roster, and most of all, our inability to consistently win big games over ranked teams. I thought there would be solid steps toward those goals this year and there haven't been for a variety of reasons. As I've said, next year looks dismal without a huge portal haul and with a much improved SEC. Next year is probably when groundwork for a possible coaching change starts getting laid by the AD.

That said, my reaction to that is they're still my team and I still hope they play well and win everytime they play. And I'm going to be happy if we do, no matter who it's against. Some posters are like tent revival preachers screaming over and over the gospel of the good ole days and how stupid everyone who doesn't hate everything about the program are. That's their right but damn that's exhausting.

The players you want to transfer out are here because they quit being picky about recruits.

Can't have it both ways. We need to able to be very picky about recruits, just like So Carolina.

I don't know about that. I'll support with a fiscally responsible amount but IMO any monthly amount is "serious" for most Americans.

Do we want big hitter NIL contributors, sure, sure, but if we could find 5,000 lady Vol fans willing to do $100/mo, that's way more than enough. $6M per year, if you do the math.

The beauty of your mistake was all the simpletons wanting it to be true and liking it. Next time you quote someone, don’t miss.
Sorry Majors I was to quick to respond when I thought there goes someone else were you where block I put your name in the ones. starting tell Tess Darby what to do. When I said major and others didn't take time. To spell .Out clearly you kept it to her playing skills
When Lucy said this carzy About my post Didn't know she had you block
I was to quick trying to respond to someone else attack Tess that mis quote you.
Not having no body block I was thinking Lucy was trying to start something when she said this is crazy.

We have five scholarships to give so that should be enough. We need about three players and they could make a difference that would be totally noticeable next season.

That kind of money would buy you three Bayou Barbies and have 900 k left over.

Lots of small dollar donations are pretty inefficient. We needs the freakin Haslems to step forward. They could set the LVs up for NIL for yrs with one donation. Wish the Haslems had a women's sports fan like Ann Baker Furrow in their family.

One possible good outcome of the NIL mess is that Title IX is likely to force sharing with women's teams. Saw yesterday where UT has approved setting up a fund for future athlete salaries. They envision salary payments from the schools to athletes, while collectives can still provide the extra goodys under name, image, likeness agreements. That's very good news for women's sports and could possibly cure the LVs signing bonus payment problems.
