if that is the reason for him to not decide to return to TN. then good for Tee. now if he used that reason not to come home and ended up at that other school thats after him ...well alot of people would be just a little bit pissed to say the least

If Graham is truly the only coach retained; then Tee is already aboard, it just hasn't been finalized yet IMO. Go get'em coach. Hell, make Trooper a special teams coach.. That could be a helluva recruiting trio.

my alabama friend says they is no talk on boards of tee being offered by saban, so it does not even look like we have to worry about bama, we have to make sure we get him from usc.

i really do not see bama needing him as a wr coach they have all coaches still intact,

this is big pickup for us if we can get tee, we need all the help we can get in recuiting, i think he would be a big plus for us if we can get him to come home

Tee is a MUST get for Jones.... I honestly believe the main reason Richt has had the level of success he's had at Athens is because he took Rodney Garner away from us....Tee is every bit the recruiter Garner is, maybe better...

Hopefully Tee Martin might be a little partial to UT. There is, after all, only one school that named a street after him.

I don't get it. I love Tee but as a coach I'm just not sure. Tee went several years in limbo saying he might want to coach someday but never seemed to enthusiastic about it. He didn't get his first coaching job until 2009 at New Mexico. Two years at Kentucky and one at USC and he's this hot a commodity? I just don't see him as anything more then a wr coach atm and I'm not sure he's all that good at that. I honestly think Kiffin hired Tee as a dig at UT or to get a certain recruit and now probably doesn't care whether he stays or not. I know it sounds ridiculous but I wouldn't put it past Kiffin. I know Vol fans want him back in Knoxville but if I had to chose I would take Hinshaw over Tee.

I agree if it wasn't Kiffin. Your telling me at USC he couldn't find a more qualified coach then Tee Martin? Two years as the WR coach at Kentucky? Not sure if you noticed but if your looking at the results USC's passing game wasn't very good this year. Barkley went from Heisman lock to not even in the conversation. Not saying it was Tee's fault but he certainly didn't make them better.

How does this show anything about CBJ? What if Tee AND his family are happy where they are? With that said, I really hope he ends up here but if he doesn't, I don't think it means CBJ is a bad hire.

Lee did but I'm not sure that proves anything about Tee's coaching ability. Dude is a beast

I don't want to argue Tee's ability because frankly I can say one way or the other. I just don't think after basically 3 years coaching he should be considered a must get coach. I would love to see him back in Knoxville but people shouldn't go ape sh*t if he's not. I didn't hear anyone clamoring for him when he was hired at Kentucky. This all started when Kiffin hired him and everyone got butt hurt as usual.

I can see Tee as being the awesome recruiter (being who he has been connected with) but as the coach I agree with GLDunlap. How great did he make Kentucky? USC probably had the best WR tandem in the country--you couldn't mess them up if you tried. I honestly thought Kiffin hiring him was kind of bizarre too--I think it might have had to do more with some possible connections he had in the South but as far as the coaching ability? I don't know...

Goodness guys....quit being a bunch of knuckleheads. What he didn't do as a position coach at UK doesn't tell me jack.
