First, a uniformed messenger arrives. Either on horseback or in a horse drawn carriage. The messenger should present a letter in an envelope sealed with wax and the official power T seal. The letter should be presented to the recruit on a golden tray and not handed directly to the recruit. To do so is a major fox paw and could derail the whole recruitment before it even gets start. The letter should praise the recruit in everyway possible, including athletic ability, overall intelligence, and of course their physical appearance. Comparing their body to that of a Greek god is a nice touch. The letter should also ask the recruit and their family for permission to continue recruiting them in the future with the hope of heaping enough praise on them to gain their commitment. The messenger should lie prostate on the ground while the letter is being read and the written response prepared. Once the recruit has offered their written response and left the room the messenger can then get up and return to their master.
