I realize it's tough when you're 2-6. That being said, everyone says we're 2-6 because of a lack of talent, which I agree with. I just don't want the situation to perpetuate.

You're not being stupid; the claims of our VN "experts" are. Fact is Dooley has offered 100 of the top 250 players and almost all (save 2 currently) said no thanks so far. According to the VN experts, after those players turned us down, our VN "experts" did the same lame "we didn't really want them anyway" claim every fan whose team loses out on a recruit does.

AND for all of you who got on here just to make fun of this thread or say it was stupid or question it's existence...just stop, it's annoying. If you can't go to your teams's message boards to ask a question about your favorite team, what is the freakin point. If it's been answered already and its not worth your time, JUST IGNORE IT!

One thing I've learned on VN is that you have no control over what people post or if they post.

You either need to grow a tougher hide or GTFO. :hi:

This is kinda par for the course in the recruiting forum especially. Its unfortunate that fans are so rude to one another (I've been guilty of it too) but those that follow recruiting follow it all year, not just from mid January to NSD. They pride themselves in having a deeper understanding of our football team and they forget that there is a wide variety of VOL fans and not everyone has the interest in every aspect of the "game." I applaud you for your new found interest in recruiting. I have found that I can better evaluate the players and the coaching staff based on the way they recruit and it makes watching football (not just UT football) much more exciting. That being said, just ignore the jerks, weed through the rants, and get your answers from the friendly. GBO!
