Are we the leader for Dyer???

If Dyer commits to the barn tomorrow, rather than trashing him on this board, I think we should hold out hope. He has already said he is not going to be done after he commits.

Being friends with Bo Jackson is cool. Unfortunately Travis Henry is unavailable to befriend him, but Jamal could call. Bottom line is that Eddie Gran is the most recent coach of successful Barn backs...

This isn't about Bo Jackson. It's about Gus Malzahn.

I dont have a problem with not getting Dyer if it required a package deal. The staff just isn't into those things. They will get a big-time elite RB in next year's class if they dont in this year's.

It's possible. I'm a huge fan of Gibson. Although I like him more as a Linebacker. I think he could be a national recruit.

None that are feature backs, but some guys that would be great pickups as the 2nd back in the class. Bryson is a guy I like.

I like Dyer better than any other back in this class. I also like his build and style better than BB. I think the coaches may be looking at Mosley and thinking Douglas... no way he's a college TE though. Good tackle material though.

This might sound stupid to you guys but I really think even if we didn't land Dyer I think this staff is still looking at Mosley. He will probably have to red shirt but IMO he could end up being a really good athletic OL. I think it's just a plus that this staff will most likely end up with Dyer if they sign Mosley. The question I have for you guys tho is would you rather have Mosley for 4 years or Cullen for 2?

Cullen for 2 - we need guys who can come in and contribute immediately and Cullen can do that. By the time Mosley is ready to play in 3 or 4 years, we will have a whole roster full of guys like James, Green, Maclain

Several posters on TOS are convinced Dyer and Mosley will be announcing for Tennessee tomorrow. They really think Kiffin has something up his sleeve here.

Can't say I agree with them.

Regardless who he "commits" to tomorrow....it means approximately nothing. He has said he will continue to take visits and keep the recruiting going even after the announcement. It seems some of these kids "commit" just so they can have the attention of a press conference.
