GAMA SOSA: Are You A Rich Leftist Who Hates Inequality? Here’s How To Pay Your ‘Fair Share’ Without Taxing Us Plebs

"If all the “millionaires and billionaires,” most of whom support the Democratic Party and its various giveaways to freeloaders and illegal aliens, really want to help and be true patriots, there is a little something called the Treasury Department’s “Gifts to the United States” account. This account is basically what it sounds like: You can donate your money to the government."

A better way would be to simply close all the loopholes that the very rich use to get away with paying minimal taxes--and to tax the super-rich and corporations (which also rarely pay taxes) more heavily. Republicans don't think rich people should be taxed---which is another indication of how stupid and crazy Republicans are.

Lol. Your rich Democrats don’t want to be taxed. If you think they do then you are dumb. You are like so many other liberals. Absolutely clueless when it comes to taxing the ultra rich. You know the ones who pay 95-98% of the taxes in this country? The loopholes you speak of? All the mega rich liberals take full advantage of. But keep it up glass house 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Why does it matter if the loopholes are legal?

Are you proposing a flat tax and/or consumption tax for all?

Why should the rich be taxed more heavily?

Perhaps your dear leader government could simply STOP SPENDING OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.

You make it seem as if the government is kind enough to allow you to keep a bit of it here and there. Why should ANYONE be taxed? In a democracy it is because theoretically they have assented to it. The reality is that taxation is the forceable taking of money from one person and giving it to another based upon whoever the leader is. If a mafia did that to you (for your own protection), it would be illegal but because it is government people like you lick their very feet.

Taxation for real services that the government provides makes sense as long as those services are real and government is small. However, we moved way beyond that a long long time ago. The redistribution of income scheme should absolutely be illegal, and heads should be rolling on the mall or hanging from nooses lining the mall for starting and propagating handouts ... domestic and foreign.

When the Dems held the Senate, house, and presidency why didn’t they close all the loopholes?

I’m absolutely not against the rich paying taxes, but I do have a problem every four years when Bernie and the other Dems scream at the sky that they will make the rich “pay their fair share” and then introduce policies that attack the wallets of the middle and working classes.

The rich certainly are not selling their used golf clubs on eBay for less than they paid for them. How does taxing income over $600 from cashapp or PayPal make the super rich and corporations pay more?

What I find stupid and crazy are democrat voters believing that democratic politicians are going to make the rich pay more taxes. Do you believe that the Dems are going to change the tax code so that they and their donors will pay more taxes?

Like Republicans claiming to be fiscally conservative?

You could donate your money to the government, or for the same outcome, you could light it all on fire and dance around naked with your underwear on your head.

Give me 3 specific examples of loopholes corporations use to not pay taxes...

Once again, when corporations pay taxes, they increase the price of goods/services produced to compensate for the cost of those taxes. That means, you the consumer actually pays the taxes. It also gives further advantage to foreign businesses that do not have to pay those corporate taxes.

It is a dumb idea.

What would be wrong with a flat tax? If you make 10 million, then you pay 1.5 million in taxes. If you make 100k, then you pay 15k in taxes. That would be called equality and everyone paying their fair share.

You can forget about the lefties actually using common sense on this one. They actually think that the higher corporate taxes will be paid by corporations and then the corporations will simply take the hit. The lefties that actually believe this are very low IQ....and there are a lot of them. Yet, the ones who put forth these proposals know the truth, and don't care. They don't care that everyone....including the poor....will pay more for goods and services.

I don't have a quibble about the idea of flat percentage applied to everyone. The percentage is fair in that it applies to everyone. But I am curious about the justification for the person making 10M to pay 1.5M compared to the person paying 15K.

Is the person taxed at 1.5M using 10 times the government's administration and resources? Does the military protect them 10 times more than the other person?

Or is it simply that they have more so they should pay more?

Sometimes that's not feasible so they look to cut costs and that usually means labor costs first. So either way raising taxes on business does nothing to help the average Joe.

You may have overlooked it, but I was proposing a 15 percent tax for all. 15 percent of 10 million is 1.5 million. 15 percent of 100 thousand is 15 thousand. It would be an equal percentage across the board of what is earned.

How do you figure exactly how much you make?
