Well unless you are mike hart, I would say that your opinion matters not. Kinda hard to judge the effectiveness of a coach nine games into his career here, no? But judging from your past of posting garbage, knee jerk reactions I would say the majority of what I said just flew over your ignorant head.

Thanks for riveting insight. You really changed my mind there Mrs. Martin. Fact of the matter is, any coach worth a damn could have figured out a way to win against that terrible team. Keep blindly supporting the dark ages of Tennessee athletics. It's really helping.

Where are all the people that were so pumped about our moral victories? I guess we lost to Austin Peay because we didn't have enough talent. Everyone knew it was going to be a long year but I expected the team to play as hard as they could for 40 minutes and at least play good defense but I guess not.

Bruce Pearl changed the entire culture of Tennessee basketball and put us on the map. Yeah, he made a stupid decision with the BBQ and lying about it, but to sell him short of his coaching ability is completely idiotic.

Hopefully this is not he Wade Houston era revisited. He just led us to a loss against a 1-9bad team and he had no answers for it as it went down. Heck - pay me $1.3 mill to stand and sit in a chair and send guys in and out. I can do that and lose to bad and good teams equally as well.

Trying to compare this loss to any loss Pearl had is stupid. No, Pearl never had any loss this bad to this bad of a team, but he didn't inherit a mess either. Martin gets at least 2 years, but he did himself no favors with the fans in the short term. TBA will be a mausoleum again if he keeps losing to sh*tball teams like this.

Losing to a 1-9 team at home is going to get a bad reaction. And deservedly so really. We didn't have any injuries for an excuse. We were outplayed and outcoached by a less talented team at home. A 1-9 team. Some of you can excuse that all you want. You'll look stupid. No excuse for this loss. None.

Yea because taking us to the NCAA tourney EVERY year he was here wasn't why most fans liked Bruce.... It was bc of the body painting...

No way in hell this team makes the NCAAs this year.

I still like Martin.
also think this loss is on him.
Spent too much time bench building.
In one stretch we had 3 freshman ,McBee and Miller on the floor.
Thought he could take back control of the game at will and didn't count on his starters choking in the second half.

No excuse for losing to AP. However, the people that act like it is the end of the world for CCM, this team, TN Basketball as a whole, and the world as we know it look far dumber. It's one very bad game, not the end of the world.

Bruce Pearl has average coaching ability. He excelled in motivation of teams, was above average in recruiting, but his coaching ability has never been thought of in high regard.

Again, you're going to get a bad reaction after a loss like this and deservedly so. This is a horrible loss bar none. Martin will catch hell after a loss like this.

It would be nice if Martin showed a smidgen of passion or emotion. Our players seem to play dead at times just like how he carries himself. You don't have to be a yeller to be successful, but damn, get pissed and show some emotion before it's too late. We sleepwalked that last 5 minutes and choked.
