Arian (Taco) Foster is annoying

How the views have changed for Foster on here.

A couple of years ago and there would have been umpteen posters writing about Foster's accomplishments at UT.

I beg to differ
You have only been here since 11. You shouldve been a member on here during the epic fumbles he had. Only Crompton has received more venom and hate than AF.

Disclaimer: To avoid being trolled by Foster fans about the 'fumbles' you have to make a statement that he didnt have many and the ones he did have were not his fault.

Sounds like you have a personal problem with Arian OP.

I saw the video and I thought it was hilarious. Arian can do what he wants.

While I do understand that he isn't drinking and driving, or beating up anyone, or doing drugs.. He IS also getting paid by the texans to not only play.. But represent the organization well. I understand that he prob doesn't want the media in his face.. But the fact is that he is being paid handsomely to deal with it...

Two were not his fault and he had 5 during his career. There ya go, no sense in waiting for someone to do that for you.

He is starting to become the Kanye West of the NFL. Just good enough that he stays around but ignorant and annoying as hell...

Lol at the "he's not being arrested" crowd! Did you also defend Tyler Bray? He's not been arrested so I guess you guys defend him just the same?

I agree that he is the Kayne West of football. He's a total narcissist and has absolutely no loyalty to our program. He may not drink and drive, do drugs, beat his wife...but he sure does like to cheat on her and impregnate coeds. He's paying her monthly so regardless if he's the BD or not, he obviously was hooking up with her. Stay classy, Arian!

He should've given a little more and held on to the ball a little tighter! You need a dose of "this is a message board" and realize when former players do foolish things, they will be discussed on the message board. If I annoy you, ignore me! How do you like that dose??

Please don't beat your wife or kick the dog

I personally feel bad for the guy.

He was a solid back for us during one of the saddest 4 year stretches in UT Football history. Sure we have sucked more the last 4 years, but the downfall of Fulmer was more disappointing and sad to watch IMO. I can only imagine being part of that disaster.

He was bounced around between what.. 3 OCs and RB coaches? He was convinced to come back his senior year only to see his draft stock completely fall apart because of the abysmal 2008 year with Clawfence?

Fans really piled on him too because of his fumbling issues and approach with the media/fans.

I'm not saying he was the greatest Vol of all time, but I do think he got a crappy hand dealt to him. He clearly has talent and I think in a better system he would've had a better time in college.

Worst 4 year stretches? He was here when Tennessee played in an SEC Championship game and finished ranked 12th in the nation. His senior year was the only year he had to deal with any negativity. He single handedly lost the Penn State game his sophmore season or we would have had 10 wins that year as well. Arian got a chance to showcase his skills at a major university to play on the next level. If he was too dumb to figure out how to get food, then good thing football worked out for him. I know quite a few ex Vols and they did not have the same experience Arian had.

Single-handedly? Wow your memory has gone to sht over these last few years. It was a 1-possession game with 10 minutes to go. Single-handedly losing is Cory Anderson vs. Alabama, circa 2005. It was a fumble with maybe an inch between his body and the ground. Nobody on our team touched the returner. There's a lot more to a loss than an early-4th quarter fumble leading to a 1-possession differential.

In the final 10 minutes, Foster touched the ball 0 times and we gained 17 yards on 8 plays.

I've always liked Arian. So what if things he says come out weird, I'm the same way. He's a football player (/philosopher), not some talking head pundit. Oh the taco story, we almost got NCAA sanctions for tha--- oh we didn't?

He balled when he was here, contributed to a fantastic 2007 season, he's a good guy in my book. This thread is stupid.

I guess I could do like you and google search everything. But I perfer to not cheat in life. The fumble was returned for a TD. 14 point swing. The final score was 20-10. Do the math. And learn football outside of a box score before commenting on my memory.

I googled exact stats. I knew the info. There was plenty of time left, but Fulmer basically abandoned the run in a 1 possession game.

Arian is obviously a head case. His shenanigans seem to be worsening. I really hate to bash a former Vol, but this guy is an embarrassment. He was recently interviewed by the media at training camp and repeatedly answered every question by saying, "I'm just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be."

Someone needs to create a timeline of all the annoying events/stories that he has been a part of, starting with all of the infamous fumbles.

The coolest thing he has done was DJ last years O&W game, but I was annoyed by that as well.

I guess he's just trying to be the most annoying person he can be.

Don't listen to him and he won't annoy you.

Guy cracks me up. Probably not as clever as he thinks he is, but anyone who gives the media grief and does it with some color is a good egg.

Most interviews all you hear anyone talk about is playing together as team, working hard, how God was going to help us, good weeks of practice, etc. AF livens it up. Didn’t he do interviews in some alien language during press days while he was at UT?

Please give some facts on how he didn't have loyalty?
I wish he wouldnt have come back for his senior year. I've never seen such a great player. bashed for the dumbest things. If he has no loyalty its probably bc of our wonderful fanbase.
Who arre you to judge the severity of an injury? Was Ainge a wuss for hurting his thumb?

How does one prove or disprove loyalty? In my opinion making public statements which might harm your university with nothing really to gain, makes me question his loyalty; as well as his threats about doing something stupid if he doesn't get his way.

Oh boy, let's blame the fans.

As for the severity of his injury, I just stated facts. You're free to draw your own conclusions. But I know guys have played through worse.
