I'm not the one who originally claimed they were left leaning. So the question wasn't asked to me. But yes. Their political coverage is slanted favorable to Democrats.

Ask for examples of bias - specific quotes, demonstration of intentional steering, etc - and you get "I'll know it when I see it" or some variant.

It's easily quantifiable, they just don't want to do it.

No it's all good. I'm just find it funny how other sites can be referred to as right wing, right leaning, or far right. But once someone says one of the others are left leaning, left wing, or far left or immediately gets questioned as to why they call them that.

There is no "moderate" news site or media site out there. That's why I keep up with actual legislation that is being pushed through and who the big political donors are for both major parties.

I don't have a problem saying certain sites are left or right-leaning, thats fine. I dont even have a problem saying some sites are so skewed they can't be trusted. But I do have a problem with saying that every site with a different perspective than me is always wrong.

Also, I don't see you providing any proof that The Hill isn't actually left leaning. As I stated in a previous post there are really no moderate news sites and outlets out there. Especially when it comes to political coverage.

If people want to continue to claim certain news outlets are far right or right wing then people have every right to also claim other outlets are far left or left wing.

Youre absolutely right. The same argument for Fox and CNN could be made that their daytime news is generally factually accurate while slanted to the their ideological position in its presentation, while their evening stuff is outright opinion/propaganda. I've said this before. CNN claims they are fair in their coverage. They are not. Their news coverage is favorable to democrats and the democrat agenda. The fact that they make these claims even though they are obviously biased makes them worse. I don't know how that's hard to understand. And they have a much wider audience than the ones you mentioned.

If I go to those other sites you mentioned they don't hide the fact that they are left wing. If I go to Mother Jones website I know what they are pushing. And they are honest about it. CNN is not.

CNN could have also hosted Republican town halls this past election. Yes, there were other candidates besides Trump. Or they could have hosted a town hall for Jo Jorgensen. Or hosted one for Howie Hawkins. They did not. If they were fair in their coverage then why did they NOT do that? Fox News even hosted one for Bernie and Buttigieg. Hannity even allowed DeBlasio to come on his show and gave the entire hour to him. Now why couldn't Chris Cuomo do that for Bill Weld?

If a person were to post a left leaning article and attempt to pass it off as centrist, I'll call them out as well. I have already. I just don't believe you've been around to see it.

It is the responsibility of the person questioning the ranking to provide the evidence to the contrary, not mine to confirm it. Standard stall/deflection tactic.

It's also within individuals' rights to claim that the moon is made out of cheese and the earth is on top of a turtle which stands on top of another turtle. Doesn't make them right.

Bias in reporting is quantifiable. There are rubrics for doing so. The biggest issue comes from the inability or lack of desire to be self-aware of one's position and how it affects their perception of data.

I am conservative. OAN is constant lying hot garbage. CNN is left leaning like fox is right leaning. WSJ and BBC America are my go to choices for news. They have a slight slant but it's as close to neutral as you can get IMO. But you keep watching OAN and being lied to every moment your eyes are on it.
