Arizona Election Audit

Secretary of State Katie Hobbs has been put in her place.

Thats rich. He isn't going to take her allegations into consideration because she doesn't have evidence to back it up. Where was the evidence of election fraud when it was time to present it in court? They had none. This entire audit is being done because of allegations that so far have not been proven.

More name calling.

Yes, shabby, but she should have been removed from election duties by the legislature some time ago. Ironically, when the Senate took a hands-off approach to the audit, she complained the Senate was abdicating any responsibility or engagement in the audit process,” and “dangerous and irresponsible.

Wish granted, Ms. Hobbs.

The audit in New Hampshire has uncovered some crazy things. The Residents of Windham made a huge deal over who would do the audit. Unfortunately the Windham board wouldn't listen and chose their own auditors and apparently these guys altered dates and data

That comment about they can’t wait until the participants can talk about what they’ve seen is interesting.

I also like where she mentioned that it was laughable that the Secretary of State said the machines have been compromised by the auditors when not long ago she claimed the machines were unhackable

Why conduct an audit of an election held six months ago, and four months since the victorious candidate was sworn into office? Also, this is after that same state (Georgia) has already conducted a hand recount of their results, and those results have been certified by a Republican Governor (Brian Kemp) who actively campaigned for the losing candidate (in this case, Donald Trump). Maybe Fulton County officials want an objective firm conducting the audit? Maybe Fulton County officials want to make certain that all federal election laws will be complied with? Maybe Fulton County officials don't like having their integrity questioned, and they are just as eager to defend the certified results of the presidential election, as Trump supporters are to invalidate them?

Finally, ....

I respect anyone who is passionate about a cause, and who aggressively argues in favor of that cause. I am curious though... What do you consider the end game to be with these "audits"? You don't seem like a stupid person, so you must know that the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election will not be retroactively overturned, regardless of any conclusions which are reached from these overtly biased "audits". Impartial, open minds will not be changed either. So, in your opinion, what is the objective here? When do these audits end? Is it when Republicans finally get a conclusive result that they want? This whole thing seems like such a waste of one's time... but then again, it is your time to waste. Have at it.

More lies from this clown

... but Republicans in the Arizona State Senate are not clowns?

The state Senate hired a private firm (Cyber Ninjas) that has never worked in the election realm before. Some of their practices, such as the storage and handling of ballots, have raised concerns with the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, which weighed in a month ago. In a letter to those legislators, the DOJ division expressed its concerns about possible violations of ballot preservation laws and voter intimidation. Following that letter, the Arizona State Senate scrapped part of the plan to do follow-up canvassing at voters' homes.

Those people aren't in search of the truth. They aren't on a fact-finding mission. They aren't trying to reform a broken system of elections. They have sour grapes over an election defeat... and so they are trying to de-legitimize the outcome of that election. In the process of doing this, they are also undermining the democratic system of elections in the United States, while trying to sow further distrust among their party base. It's a fundraising effort with an attempt to curry favor with Trump, and rally his voters.

Biden may have very well won the election. I don’t think anyone is trying to overturn the election here. People just want to make sure the voting process is legit, that’s all.

That is what those people have to say... and I'm sure that some Republicans really do just want this. The 4 major problems with this are:

1) Nobody has shown how the recounts weren't legitimate. Are we really supposed to believe that Republican Governors who campaigned for Donald Trump (such as Brian Kemp and Doug Ducey), certified invalid results, which showed him losing? A hand recount in Georgia has already been done.

2) Those same people did not show any such concern for the democratic process when Trump won in 2016, which was an election with very similar results (just in Trump's favor).

3) If there is a legitimate concern over the legitimacy of the voting process, then why are Arizona Republicans only challenging that one election? Why not challenge Mark Kelly's win over Martha McSalley? That election was on the same ballot, after all?

4) If those people just want to make sure the voting process is legit... Why on earth did they hire "Cyber Ninjas" to conduct their audit? It's a valid question which none of our resident Trump apologists ever even try to answer. They have no experience working with elections in any capacity at all. They are a little known firm. The CEO of Cyber Ninjas, Doug Logan, announced in December that the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election was fraudulent. He also donated money to both of Donald Trump's campaigns for president, and he has close ties to a 2020 Trump Campaign attorney, named Sidney Powell. Doug Logan posted provably false claims concerning Dominion Voting Systems on Powell's website. Sidney Powell is currently being sued by Dominion for those same provably false claims. It is unprofessional for an auditor to announce a conclusion before his audit even began, but that is exactly what Doug Logan did, and the Republican-controlled Arizona State Legislature hired him anyway. The only reasonable conclusion to be drawn from that hire, is that those Republican legislators chose Cyber Ninjas to conduct this audit, because they liked that Doug Logan was biased in favor of Trump, and they are hoping that his bias will influence the findings of their "audit".

This is a farcical exercise. No reasonably intelligent and objective person would think that this was a legitimate, fact-finding process of discovery. Arizona's Republican-controlled state Senate has already reached their desired conclusion that Donald Trump won the state of Arizona. Those Republican legislators in Arizona just need a third party to reach that same conclusion, and publicly announce it, when they present their set of "findings". Arizona Republicans can't do it themselves. That is where "Cyber Ninjas" comes into play, and it is the one and only reason as to why they were hired to begin with.

How can whatever this news source is expect to be taken seriously by intelligent people by including things like "raging anti-audit bitch" and "Rachel Madcow" in their reports? It's actually cringy.

It's what you get when people are willing to accept their news mingled with entertainment and set aside basic humanity in the process.

We could fix the MSM mess, but we keep going back to the same tainted troughs because it tickles our fancies.

The election audit in Fulton County was a damn joke and farce!

Republicans are the party of conspiracy theorists, Trump sycophants and extremist militants. They are the kooks who can't explain a consistent or coherent ideology involving policy. They simply support anything which has to do with Trump... which is bizarre, in the aftermath of his resounding defeat. They make up the uneducated, the unsophisticated, the unintelligent, the inarticulate and the unenlightened members of society. They represent the gullible, the willfully ignorant, the irrational, and the illogical.
You sound a little full of yourself BB.
