Bob Welton just said on air he is excited about where this class is. Probably won't rank as high because of limited numbers but he is excited most of these guys won't be forced to play right away.
I don't know if this has been posted yet. I posted Part I of this article, and here is part II. I have not read it yet.
Tennessee Football Recruiting: What to expect in the 2016 class, Part 2 - Rocky Top Talk
In my humble (read: egotistical) opinion, I think we look for the big splash signing day this go round. Just looking at the visitors list for the 29th and how many open spots we have. If we close with 5-6 top players on signing day, especially if we close out the bowl game in style and winning 9 games, we would carry a giant amount of momentum into the offseason. 2017 will be a loaded class for us and likely a larger class as well.
I just want to say that blaming 'peer recruitment' and especially singling out Jarrett Guarantano and on top of that speculating that he might not have a good personality because he couldn't lure Rashan Gary or Kareem Walker here is just asinine and really pi$$es me off coming from a Tenn site. This writer needs to take some flak for that from Vol fans - BIG TIME!
but he doesn't seem to have the right personality to bring other players to Knoxville.
Where are you getting that people are discrediting it prior to reading it? I am seeing posts where people are stating that they have read it, that they disagree with it, and you dismiss that opinion, because it does not jibe with yours. The only comment from you that I have seen that is complimentary of another poster is one that agreed with you. There is nothing wrong with objectivity, I have to use it every single day in my job, but you seem to be falling all over yourself to demonstrate how objective you are by endorsing this man's opinion.
DV, the guy is a lawyer, that's what he gets paid to do!:banghead2:
