athiests and agnostics know more about religion than churchgoers

Let me edit my response. I meant to anyways. The only unforgivable sin BY A BELIEVER is one not asked forgiveness for. Obviously, a non-believer denies Christ which is also unforgivable.

So I wasn't created holy? You? Anybody? Just Adam and Eve came on this earth holy?

Of course Adam was created holy. That's perfection. He needed no redeemer. All of his offspring, you, me, everyone, are unholy because we inherited sin from Adam. Adam CHOSE to sin. You and I try our best not to that's why we are forgiven, we aren't in this state willfully, Adam was.

The only burden Adam and Eve put on us is knowing the difference between good and evil. Surely a child doesn't have that capacity at birth. Sin is not inherited.

To me faith only comes with evidence. Hope is minus evidence. It's been my experience that the majority who claim to have faith in reality just hope because they can provide no evidence for what they hope other than its just common opinion or that's what their daddy told them.

Ultimately though, a specific religious belief (God is creator of universe, redemption through Christ, metaphysical claims of martyrdom, etc) is ultimately based on faith. Bringing evidence into the conversation with regards to supernatural claims is bogus.

I don't understand why most religious can't just be brave enough to admit that most of their core beliefs are based strictly on faith and personal choice. Evidence only plays a part after the fact, there can be no evidence to assuage their core beliefs.

I admit this completely. It is the non-believer that presses for "proof".

Sin is inherited. According to your argument it would be possible for someone to live without sin. Not possible.
For example, a child is born to parents living in a miserable, impoverished place such as Haiti, Sudan, or Alabama. The child had no control or choice on where he was born but he has to suffer the consequences until he is mature enough to climb out of that poverty his parents put him in.

No, an unborn child has not sinned outright in word or deed but he will eventually because he inherited that propensity from his parents.

Maybe the more accurate statement is that a sinful state is inherited.

A ton of BS, but you finally got the point right.

A person's sin is not passed on. Ridiculous notion.

Why?

Does it matter? Did Adam and Eve "marry"?

In other words he had sex with his sister (If he had a sister) or mother, I think we call that inbreeding, which answers allot of questions about Bama.:)

In other words, If Adam and Eve were the first and only people at that time. their siblings would have had to inbreed to produce future generations.

Yes, so?

Wow.....that took an advanced degree. :)

Wher do you get that Adam and Eve were the only humans God created ?

I think you are being 100% more honest with why you believe what you do. I may not agree with what you believe, but I can definitely respect that kind of honesty.
