I'd say so. Even though he's 0-2 so far tonight both were very hard-hit balls of which one might be on web gems. Berkman's catch was spectacular.

I'm not sold yet. He still appears to not see the ball more times than not. Perhaps he has the issue that mac had a few years ago.

That was one of the most badass turns of a double play that I've ever seen. That was pure strength by Uggla.

The good thing is that in about a week the Braves can go into preservation mode and rest guys for the two weeks leading up to the NLDS.

I know Uggla has zero range. His defense is MUCH better than I thought it would be. He makes the solid plays and can turn a double play very well. That's good enough for me.

And all Heyward has to do at this point is get on base. That's all we need from him.

If the Braves hold on, then 10 games. Two more weeks of solid ball, and the last week you rest everyone.

I just want to say something quick about Craig.

I'm not big on closers being MVP's for a team, but for this year, he's right up there. For three months nobody could touch them. That's incredible. He's been amazing and lights out.

That's the first run he's given up since June 10th.

Tough luck on that Pujols hit. He was completely jammed and if it's a couple of feet to the left, Freeman gets it and the game is over.
