Y'all brought it to us tonight. The game wasn't as close as the score. Your bats were hot and ours were cold. Hopefully we can avoid a damned sweep.

That's why I said it wasn't as close as the score indicated.

The Braves have been that way this year. They are very feast or famine. I am not used to a Braves offense that can score like they have this year thus far. It's an adjustment to accept that pitching is weak, especially our starting pitching. But, Beachy has been exceptional and hopefully Hudson can get back into expected form -- last start seemed like he found his way a bit, but who knows.
I certainly do not expect them to keep scoring like this the rest of the year, but not complaining while they are racking up runs.
The pitching should be fine, especially if the Braves have the stones to challenge the starters by bringing up Teheran to replace whoever's failing. And sending Jurrjens down tells us they have the stones. We're only six weeks in; I'm pretty sure the starting pitching will work itself out. Not least because that's something Fredi has very little effect on.
I do worry that there's some smoke-and-mirroring going on with the offense, and that there'll be a be a big regression at some point that will have us shrieking about how they can't score anymore. All the individual hitters' stats do not quite add up to all the runs that they're scoring. Example: you guys do know that Heyward has a higher OPS than Freeman, right?
There we go Beach

That's something that's always in the back of your mind, but I don't worry about it quite as much since its not like there's HR binge going on or a couple of guys insanely hot. It's mainly been all 8 guys in the lineup being productive. If anything, Mac and Prado have been lackluster.
Ridiculous to say the least. Just idiotic dumbasses.
We need replay. Was Prado moving on that play also? That is potentially two-three runs taken away right there.
